"We had Alpha Foundations come out to check the foundation due to minor flooding problems at the back of the house. Jason came to evaluate the situation and determined that the foundation settlement was slightly within the range of suggesting repair. He suggested at least using their expanding foam product for waterproofing. We decided to have both done in order to have the foundation stabilized permanently as well as the needed waterproofing work. Adlai and Terrence did a great job of installing several helical piers at the back of the house. They had to come back multiple times (with no complaints) due to weather problems (excessive rain filling holes before refilling and the need to pour concrete to repair patio where one helical pier was placed) and a city inspection timing problem. (The City of Jacksonville claimed they had no permit information even though I had a printed permit form already on my window with the inspector's name on it.) They did excellent foundation work and were always professional, answered questions, cleaned up after themselves, and even performed small additional functions not normally required. The waterproofing crew also did excellent work - answering questions, cleaning up after themselves, and leaving little evidence of their work of drilling holes in the slab and filling them with expanding foam to level the slab inside as well as placing foam around the area outside for exterior waterproofing. Although the foundation work was expensive, it was worth it due to the superior service provided. In all, the entire Alpha team - from the design tech to customer service, accounting, installation teams, etc. - was professional, courteous, helpful, and did their jobs well!"

"Jim with North Alabama Technical Services removed some items from my computer so that I could send emails and attend to items I needed to address that day. As planned, the next day he thoroughly cleaned my computer, he also made helpful suggestions while working on my computer. I would call him again if needed and I thought the fee was reasonable."

"I recently had all the windows and a glass sliding door
replaced in my home by Dream Home Remodeling.
This experience was the most positive and easiest remodeling project I
have experienced. Luis Candela, the owner of the company, came to my home to demonstrate his product, which he did with excitement and pride. He was so
detailed in his explanation of the benefits of his product and it was obvious
that his windows were far superior to any others that I had seen. Although his windows were priced higher than the advertised prices of other companies, it was obvious from the beginning of his presentation that his product was better constructed and that Luis would do
anything he could to make the process easy and would go out of his way to make
everything work the way I wanted. The
installation did end up to be a very easy and quick process. The installers showed up on time, worked diligently, and finished in one day.
They were very accommodating by replacing everything they had moved and
cleaning up after completing the work.
When Luis returned to inspect the results, he was so excited and proud
of how the project had turned out. He
again explained to me the benefits of these windows over the competition and
the features that made them a superior product. There was one item that I had
initially requested that was not completed to my satisfaction. He immediately remedied the problem without question, demonstrating his outstanding customer service. He would not stop until everything was completed to my satisfaction. I am so satisfied with this experience and with working with Luis, that I plan to use his company in the future to do some remodeling in my kitchen. I know that I made a positive investment in my
home for now by enhancing the look of my home and saving my energy costs, but
also in the future by increasing the resale value of my home. I would recommend Dream Home Remodeling with 100% confidence to anyone and look forward to working with this company in the future.

If you have a problem with your window, such as broken glass, minor leaks, or a problem with your window being stuck, repairing the broken part might be a cheaper option than replacing the entire window. However, if you have a deteriorating window frame or major leaks, buying a new window will be the better long-term solution.
Window replacement can become costly, especially if you’re replacing your whole home. There are a few steps you can take to help save money on the bottom cost while still giving your windows a facelift.
Replace multiple windows at once to bundle your purchase
Inquire about discounts, coupons, or special offers
Consider window repair as soon as you see damage to help prevent the need for replacement
Maintain your windows often by inspecting your windows for drafts, leaks, and cracks
There are certain window repairs that are cost-effective to DIY and relatively simple for homeowners to tackle themselves. Tasks like replacing a screen, replacing a lock, or sealing a window are typically under $30 and take minimal time to do yourself. However, if you need to replace your window or repair a broken double pane, it’s best to call in a professional window replacement installer to lend a hand. Replacing the majority or all of the windows in your home is a time consuming job and best left to a professional.
Window replacement costs between $180 and $410 per window, or an average of $280 per window. However, your specific replacement job could cost as little as $100 or as much as $750. Factors such as frame material, the number of windows you need, and the type of glass you order all impact the overall cost. For example, simple double-glazed windows will cost $3 to $6 per square foot, but the stronger tempered glass ranges from $12 to $14 per square foot.
The time it takes to replace a window is a total of four to 15 weeks. This time includes your initial consultation, appointments for measuring, as well as ordering and manufacturing your windows. For a smaller job, you can expect the total timeline to be on the shorter end, but for a whole house window replacement, it might take longer (or be split into multiple install appointments). Once your windows are created and ready to be installed, your window installer will take 30 to 60 minutes per window to install.

The cost of new windows heavily depends on their size, but other factors come into play as well. This guide breaks down window costs based on various factors so you can make an informed budget for this project.
