Radon Professional. We install quality radon mitigation systems. Our systems are designed by an Engineer. We offer the best warranty in the business. Need a radon test? We provide the "Print On-site" guarantee. By connecting a printer directly to the radon meter we print results in front of our customers insuring them that the test results are accurate. We have advanced diagnostic tools to test both pressure in under the concrete and find the radon source. We are the only company in the state that has a radon sniffer. We do both residential and commercial radon design and installation.

"I wanted to install a radon remediation system for several years but I was not sure who to hire for installation. I found the website for Elite on Angies List and Google. I decided to call and select them for the install. The team did a great job and was very professional."

Home Inspection questions, answered by experts

The size of your home, whether it’s a structural inspection versus a home inspection, and the inspector’s experience and skill level will dictate how long a home inspection takes. However, inspections are generally completed in 30 minutes to half a day.

Sometimes, issues with the HVAC system or an unbalanced washing machine could be the reason your house feels like it’s moving, but it could also be other factors. If a large truck passes your house or there is construction in the area, your house may feel like it’s moving, but it will be short-lived and not a sign of a larger issue.

The three main types of home inspections you should always carry out for new construction include a pre-drywall inspection, a post-drywall inspection, and a one-year inspection. The pre-drywall inspection can identify building code violations, issues with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC components, and structural issues. The post-drywall inspection can identify damaged building materials, insufficient insulation, and more. An inspection at the one-year mark after construction will identify problems your builder must fix under their comprehensive one-year warranty.

The time it takes to complete a pre-drywall inspection depends on the size of the home as well as the complexity of its build. Most take between one and three hours, but large custom homes or those with complicated HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems take even longer. Your inspector will examine each room and each system in detail to make sure everything is properly installed and up to code.

Repiping your home creates a large mess, and you won’t have access to water while your contractors are working. To prepare, contractors will cover the floor and furniture with drop clothes. In some cases, they may move furniture to protect it and get it out of the way. They’ll then cut holes in your walls, floors, and ceiling to expose the existing pipes.

They’ll also turn off your water, but they’ll leave at least one bathroom and the kitchen functioning at the end of the day. You’ll need to plan accordingly.
