"Maravilla did a wonderful job on our space. They have great customer service and are very dependable to finish a job. Having been through multiple contractors in the area, I solely relied on them to finish and to do a high quality job. The beauty of my space, I can only attribute to them. I highly recommend their team to get any job completed from drywall to finish."

"Got 4 jobs done quick and precisely. Very nice and straight to the point. Won't try and sell fluf or charge you extra for anything. He's seemed honest and understanding. One of the jobs he did was properly install and streamline the water pressure release line on my water heater. The next day I noticed the heat and water pressure valve was consistently letting out water all day. He came by again as soon as possible and when we both looked at it the valve was old and rusted out on the inside. Wasn't his fault it broke, him working on it the other day just finally put the nail in its coffin yet he went out and bought a new one and installed it for free."

"This is the second time we have hired Josh. He shows up when he says, does what he says, does it well and charges a reasonable price. Josh installed gutter guards and repaired parts of our deck. I definitely recommend Josh Stanford for many of your needs, you will not be disappointed."

"We couldn’t be happier with the work completed on our home. Communication was excellent. David and his team completely transformed our property by building beautiful new decks, adding much-needed living space with room additions, replacing our exterior doors, installing new flooring, completing roof repairs, painting, staining, and various other sub-projects. If you’re looking for someone who is dependable, honest, and skilled, I would absolutely recommend David and Hammer-Down Remodeling LLC. We will definitely be using them again for future projects."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Your indoor pool can be heated or unheated, but the decision depends on your local climate. In regions with freezing temperatures, heating your pool will keep it warm during the winter, especially if it’s only covered with a greenhouse enclosure.

If you keep your swimming water warm and toasty, budget between $300 and $5,700 for the cost of installing a pool heater.

If you’re wondering how to find a leak in an aboveground pool, the process is the same as it is for an in-ground pool. Note that the vinyl liner in aboveground pools is fairly thin, so sharp objects easily puncture it. Additionally, the liner can wear down after constant exposure to pool chemicals, especially when chlorine levels are higher than they should be. For these reasons, small holes in the vinyl liner often cause leaks, but you can easily detect them with the dye test.

The regulations for pool fence heights vary by state, so be sure to research what the legal, minimum height is in your area before purchasing or installing a fence. Though every region is different, generally a pool fence must be at least 4 and ½ feet high. If you’re unsure whether you need a fence around your pool, and how high that fence should be, contact a local pool enclosure expert to help you successfully, and safely, move forward.

Once you use a pH decreaser, you can expect the pH to adjust in two to four hours. If you use a strong chemical like muriatic acid, it could take as little as an hour. Either way, it’s best to wait for a full turnover cycle before retesting. You want to make sure the chemical is completely dissolved and evenly distributed or you won’t have a stable pH level.

Pool chemical levels should include a pH between 7.4 and 7.6, alkalinity between 80 to 120 ppm, and chlorine from 1 to 3 ppm. The size and type of your pool determine additional chemical levels, such as stabilizers and pool shock, but you can get to know these numbers using our pool maintenance 101 guide.
