"Calvin was who called me back and he said in order for them to come out and give me a service I would have to sign an agreement that I would continue with them for a year. When I asked what happens if I'm not happy with the job, Calvin said it would be no problem to discontinue. Well, I wan't happy with the job, though the tech that came out to service our home was very nice and professional. However, it did not take care of my pest problem so after 2 tries I cancelled. Now they are saying I have to pay a disconnect fee per the agreement. I told them what I was told and all they would say is "I apologize." Clearly this is a rehearsed line that they've told others. I would have to say that this is a dishonest company. Saying what it takes to get the job and then holding you responsible for their poor work. I am a bit cautious to say the least to go with Angies again if this is whom they are recommending."

"They broke out countertop, which was fine, they said they would fix it, it took 2 months to get it fixed and then they didn't put our sink together correctly and water was leaking underneath the sink into the cabinet. We decided we didn't want to continue services with them for a number of reasons, but apparently you have to continue with them for a year (which they never said, but it is in the contract we signed) they were unwilling to work with us on that, and therefore we paid off the rest of the year of service and asked them to not come back again. They only care about making money they don't' much care for the actual costumers. We have found a locally and family owned company to go with instead."

After I pulled the weeds and sprayed my yard, apparently they came by and saw no problems (with my work). After I fired them, they threatened legal action, then took full payment for services that were absolutely horrible. I was a long - time customer, but I recommend DO NOT USE KING GREEN."

Yes, humans carry fleas. Although fleas are primarily associated with dogs and cats, they are attracted to the warmth and carbon dioxide of mammals, including humans. The difference is that most fleas will only choose animals as their hosts. They may bite humans, but they don’t tend to stick around on humans for long. The one exception is the Pulex irritans, also called the human flea, which prefers human blood.

It can be difficult to know what type of animal is in your attic until you see it. But several clues can help you narrow down the suspects:

  • Sounds: Smaller animals like rats and mice make scurrying and tapping/gnawing sounds. Larger animals like raccoons and opossums make louder clambering noises. Also, note when animals are noisy: Squirrels are active during the day, while rats are busiest at night.

  • Droppings: Rats and mice leave small, rice-shaped droppings (the rat’s version is significantly larger). Bigger droppings belong to larger critters like raccoons. As long as you’re not squeamish, an image search can help you identify what you’re seeing in your attic.

When in doubt, take photos of damage or other evidence and show them to an experienced pest control pro.
