The goal of our project was to remove the old wooden siding, do some structural repairs and replace the old siding with Hardie Board. We also extended our back deck and added a gable over it. We hired Josh after firing another contractor who was dishonest and did poor quality work which could have caused major problems. He left us with no siding on the house for a month with cold weather coming. Josh had to fix the first contractor's mistakes before continuing with the job. Many people would have taken advantage of our situation, but Josh worked out the most efficient ways to get the job done and save money whenever possible. He is a problem solver, and when you add the mistakes of the first contractor to the unexpected surprises lurking in a 30 year old house, there were many challenges to overcome.
