"Luke came and did a scope of our property, measurements, and gave us different options for a fence. We weren't ready at that very moment so he sent updated quotes weekly to keep us posted on the fluctuations in price. Finally we were ready and Luke fit us right in and moved us up when there was a cancellation. Unfortunately we were not aware that our house was built on a very hard mineral stone making the job a whole lot harder than the norm. But Luke did not give up! He kept us posted on his progress and any delays we would come up against. The finished product, as challenging as it was to complete, was BEAUTIFUL!! Our fence is made with quality wood and is amazing. I would definitely re-hire & refer R&L for future projects! Thanks so much for a beautiful fence!"

"Robert was amazing. He came out and didn't try and sell me a whole new fence. He took time with me and gave me options. "Some crooks smashed in the back door window and bent the door. I called Mr. Hooks and he came right out that evening to board up the window until he could get a new door. While replacing the door he also cleaned up some water damage and repainted. Very happy with the work and the quick response.

For a backyard garden gate where public access isn't a concern, the direction it swings is largely a matter of personal preference. Finally, always check your local building codes, as they may have specific requirements for which way a gate must swing.

If you only use your gate as a pedestrian, walking through without a vehicle, you’re fine to stick with a single fence gate. If your fence opening needs to accommodate vehicles of any kind, from cars to trucks to 4-wheelers, then a double fence gate will suit the space much better and give you more freedom. 

Instead of a security door, you might opt for a heavy-duty screen door made from durable mesh, which allows better sunlight and airflow. Additionally, you could enhance security by installing strong locks on your existing door. A double-cylinder deadbolt provides robust security; however, be aware that some local laws prohibit them due to safety concerns during emergencies.

Each has its use, depending on the scenario. Security doors are primarily intended to keep people out of the home, while storm doors are used to protect the home from extreme weather. Both tend to be made from heavy-duty metal and may include glass panels to allow light to enter the home. Storm doors can feature mesh screens, just like screen doors, to allow for increased ventilation and to keep out pests. Security doors rarely, if ever, have mesh screens.
