"The individuals that came out to service my pond were very professional, on time, honest and very considerate. They were a pleasure to have them work (remove Koi fish from the pond into a holding tank, remove all existing water, clean pond and all filters, clean skimmer, replace new water into the pond and return Koi back into the pond) in our back yard. We would absolutely recommend them without a second thought."

"We are very pleased with the outcome of the project. We finally have the waterfall we have always wanted. Dennis was courteous, and responsive. The project was completed on time and the cost was as agreed upon. You could not ask for anything else out of a company. Would definitely recommend this company."

"Great communication. Although it was the rainiest year so far, when we had a 4 day reprieve, they were out there laying new driveway. They communicated when an unexpected situation came up and worked to resolve with for a reasonable expense. Will be using for grading landscaping again soon."

"The project was done very well. Scott was very attentive to my needs and how I wanted the sidewalk to be done. He took time to invite his staff member to take a look at the slope to make sure that we could safely complete the project without stairs. He provided me with a clear contract and completed everything as described. The workers also did a great job cleaning afterward. I am very happy with the outcome!!"

Aquarium Services questions, answered by experts

A septic tank always has some amount of liquid in it—which should usually be 8 to 12 inches from the top of the tank. If the liquid level is higher than that or is overflowing the drainage pipe that leads out to the leach field, the tank may be too full and in need of pumping.

No. You should never empty a septic tank yourself because it involves working with specialized equipment (that you probably don’t have) and puts you at risk of breathing in toxic fumes. Plus, once you’ve removed the waste, you’ll need to transport it and dispose of it safely. Instead, call an expert for this job. On average, hiring a pro to pump a septic tank costs $550.

Plumbing leaks, roof failures, poor drainage systems, and severe weather events that lead to flooding or inundation are common causes of water accumulation.

Septic tanks naturally have bacteria that break down some of the solid waste in the septic tank. However, sludge buildup is just part of owning a septic system. While liquid wastewater can be filtered and treated through the system, a septic tank company has to pump the septic tank out at least every few years.

You only need to pump the septic tank. The leach field allows the liquid and waste to naturally seep into the ground, so there’s no need to pump the leach field. You should call a local septic tank pumping service to remove the materials from the tank every three to five years. Without pumping the septic tank occasionally, solids could flow into the leach field pipes and clog them.
