The company manager does not accept responsibility. Amber, who states she runs the company, refuses to let me speak with the owner. There are many documented issues which I intend to pursue with regulatory agencies so others do not have our same experience. One big issue. They did not submit the permit paperwork as they stated. We inquired about the permit multiple times and were told it was taken care of. When I finally asked after months, how we knew it was taken care of, I was told again not to worry about it, the company always handles that. They said the decal was on the upstairs air handler-I guess knowing I was not going to up in the attic space to look. Long story short, when I contacted the county to get a straight answer on how I knew for sure the permit was complete, there was no paperwork found. It had not been submitted by Prestige. The county also informed me that a decal would have been placed on both the air handler and the condenser, Not one Prestige employee that we asked about the permit over 6 months offered this information. Because the decal wasn't there!!! They never even called to say the county had contacted them and were now in the process of submitting. The AC broke again and we placed a service call. At that time I rechecked with the county and found it now had paperwork and a county inspection would be scheduled. Prestige came and fixed the air conditioner again today. When we discussed the multiple problems we were having, the tech again said it was a bad installation but nothing he could do about it. I asked who owned the company he said he didn't know. Because I had done my homework, I told him the name and then he "remembered". He called me later to tell me "they" decided they would re-install the air handler to make it "right". I had to make a decision "right now" or the offer would be no good. Trust being a real issue at this point I declined making an immediate decision. I figured it might be better to let the county have a look before changing anything else out. 5 mins later Amber finally became available after not returning my calls, and offered to change out the unit and extend the service contract . She again assured me she ran the company, Scott-if he is real-is not available. I told her we had lost confidence in her company and suggested she come remove her unit and we would start all over with another company. She said she would be glad to charge us for the removal and take care of it. I will follow up with necessary agencies to hold this company accountable.

We scheduled way in advance and on the day the painting was to start one painter showed up. He did not seem well informed, did not know the paint color or any details which we had already given to Jessica and Bob. He said the rest the team would be there "later" and he started the prep. His approach seemed haphazard. Day 2 came, no team, just one painter. On this day he did a combination of prepping and painting. Day 3-still one painter, a bunch of paint in the pool, on the patio furniture that he didn't drape, really just everywhere. I was not able to check on his work during the day, so I didn't see the huge mess until he was gone. On day 4 much the same but he draped the furniture which I pointed out needed done. His approach was still haphazard. Large parts of the trim were not adequately painted. Large sections of the house-some in front and some in the back still were not painted at all. I could see he was trying but overwhelmed. I tried to reach Bob Koepke, who supposedly was in charge of project. When he got back to me after about 4 hours I told him my specific very real concerns. I suggested he come see for himself what condition our (2400 sq. foot-average size) house was in after 4 days. His response was that he had never had any complaints about (this painter) before. I guess that suggests I was mistaken. I definitely was NOT and if he had been involved enough with his job, he would have come to verify it himself. When I asked why a team had not been sent as on previous Benchmark paint jobs we had contracted-he said "all the teams are on other jobs. Jessica scheduled it that way." We scheduled our project way in advance and neither Jessica or Bob said they were giving us reduced service or gave scheduling choices, or extended time expectations for completing the job. Bob not only did NOT come out to see what was happening, worse yet he never followed up to see if things were resolved. Neither did Jessica. Bottom line, I gave the painter a lot of direction myself and told him he better have help and finish the next day. On day 5 a second painter did come and they pretty much finished. After they closed everything up and packed up all their supplies, the initial painter knocked on the door and said. " I'm done, do you want to take a look and make sure it's ok" . Really, after you packed up?This company is a great disappointment. We did have them come back eventually to clean up some of the spills and do things they missed the first 5 days. After all we did pay for it. Will never use them again.
I would like to respond to company's response on my poor rating please: I purposely left out the painters name because Benchmark the company that we contracted for this service was responsible for our dissatisfaction as described in my review. Disappointing they threw the painter singularly under the bus. I don't know what changed within the company since we started using them for a variety of services about 3 years ago, but they clearly have changed and lost our confidence. Wish they were as reliable, responsive and quality based as they were previously. FAQs for real estate service projects in Box Springs, GA
Yes, hiring a real estate agent is worth it. Many homeowners make the mistake of trying to sell their homes by themselves, thinking that they’ll save money on the commission, but what they save on the commission, they very often pay for in frustration and concessions on the sale price. Hiring a real estate agent to handle the sale of your home not only makes the process far easier and takes the burden off of you, but most homeowners get more for their homes when going through an agent because of the marketing and salesmanship they bring to the table.
Real estate agents work on commission, so the cost of hiring an agent will depend on the cost of the home you’re buying or selling. The listing contract should include information about the commission for both agents, which is usually 6 percent of the sale price in total or 3 percent per side. With an average national home value of around $440,000, the typical commission per agent is $13,200. However, you won’t pay this total out of pocket. Instead, the commission comes out of the sale price of the property.
Interviewing real estate agents is the best way to find the right person for the job. Consider asking the following questions to find the best agent for you:
How will you show my property?
Will you do open houses to market my home?
How will you handle dual agency (representing the buyer and you as the seller)?
Should I make repairs to my home before listing?
Will you get professional photos taken of my home?
What is the best price you think we can get for my property?
How long do you expect the sale to take?
You don’t legally need a real estate agent as a buyer, as you can represent yourself, but you should always hire an agent as a home buyer. A professional real estate agent will have access to local MLS services to find homes that meet your criteria and needs, can connect you with other professionals—like a mortgage broker and real estate attorney—you’ll need for the purchase, and can often negotiate a better price for your home to help save you money. Plus, as the buyer, your agent’s commission comes from the seller’s proceeds from the sale of the home.
