"Sgt. Stripes Asphalt did a fantastic job. I am in Kentucky and the job was in Georgia. They were very efficient, communicated with me. "requested an in-person quote for job. they said they had a drone site review and new what to do. so it seemed like a bait and switch for the quote. they only addressed part of the job and then added extra charge for crack filling. however I am satisfied but would have liked the whole job done as requested."

In general, pavers should be resealed every three to five years to prevent cracking.

Driveway paving costs around $4,500 on average, but depending on many factors, you could pay anywhere from $2,500 to $6,600 or more. The size of your driveway will usually be the most significant factor, with more square footage increasing your costs. You can expect to pay between $2 and $15 per square foot for paving services. Some other factors that play a role include the following:

In most cases, you don’t need a permit to repave your driveway, although some exceptions exist. Wet cutting is usually the preferred method. It controls dust, which helps protect your lungs and makes for a cleaner working environment. Plus, the water cools the blade, preventing overheating and prolonging its life while providing smoother, more precise cuts. The downside is the mess—water and asphalt sludge can be messy to clean. Dry cutting, though convenient if water isn’t available, creates a lot of dust, which can be harmful. This also increases the risk of blade damage due to overheating. So, if you have the option, wet cutting is the better method for most asphalt jobs.
