"Taylor was very knowledgeable, friendly, did a good job removing the trailer load of heavy junk (power machines, wood, furniture, flooring, and other items) from my tool shed. Taylor completed the job as planned. My shed is clean and well organized now. When and if his services are needed again, I will definitely give him a call."

"LeafFilter doesn't clean gutters, they sell and install their LeafFilter Gutter products and only clean the gutters if you buy their product. I can't even begin to afford their product so I wasn't able to get my gutter cleaned by them."

"I went with LuxeCoat Solutions to paint my house, on a friend's recommendation. To say I was not disappointed would be an understatement. Daniel, the owner, was a pleasure to work with and I soon realized his definition of good enough was higher than mine. He worked efficiently, and meticulously, with minimal disruption. My house looks like new. I unhesitatingly recommend this Company if you're looking for excellent work at a more than reasonable cost."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

If you don’t want to use dishwasher pods, you can use liquid or powder dishwasher detergent or dishwasher tablets. Alternatively, you can make a DIY dish detergent by putting two or three drops of liquid dishwashing soap in the dispenser and filling the rest with baking soda. You should never use laundry detergent, household all-purpose cleaners, or a full dispenser of liquid dish detergent.

Suggesting regular dusting and spot cleaning to maintain freshness.

To hire a professional house cleaner, start by searching for local services online and asking friends or colleagues for recommendations. Review company websites, social media accounts, and online customer reviews to understand their business and reputation. Contact prospective cleaners to ask about their services and charges. It's also a good idea to meet with them in your home so they can see the scope of the job, allowing you to discuss expectations and negotiate a price. Always do thorough research before choosing a cleaning service to ensure it’s the right fit for you.

As a general rule of thumb, avoid handwashing dishes whenever possible—especially if you have a full sink. Using a dishwasher saves water and better sanitizes your dishes. However, if you have delicate dishwear, high-end glassware, or fragile plastics, you should opt to handwash it to avoid cracks, chips, or warping from the high heat of a dishwasher.

As a general rule, you should clean your oven at least every three months, though this depends on how often you use it and the amount of residue buildup. A clear sign that your oven needs cleaning is if you notice smoke or a burning smell during use. Many ovens have a self-cleaning cycle, which heats the oven to an extreme temperature. If you use this feature, stay home while it runs and consider ventilating the room, as it can create smoke. For manual cleaning, you can make a paste of baking soda and water or use white vinegar before resorting to harsher, store-bought oven cleaners.
