"Ron is a fantastic jack-of-all-trades. Ron renovated the roof of our large old pole barn and put in a concrete floor. We were very pleased with the work and he gave us the most competitive estimate - and then stuck to that estimate! We had the unfortunate luck that a large tree fell in our barn soon after completion. What re the chances!? We again hired Ron - this time to clear the tree and repair the (now severely damaged) pole barn. Trust him entirely! His work is great and he is easy to communicate with."

"It went very well. He had the right tools to adjust the mailbox openings so the second box could be fitted. He showed up for the job on time and completed the job as estimated. He was friendly to work with and never gave up during the repair."

"Allen made it so easy and stress free. He communicated every step of the way by explaining steps to be completed each day and what time he would be at the house each day. Allen did quality work and I would recommend him to anyone. Also, I requested quotes from a couple of other companies listed and thankfully he was the only one to follow through."

"Paul was just the handyman we were looking for in our move- out/move-in projects. He was prompt, knowledgable and went the extra mile to help us complete our 'to do' list. This included door repair and new door hardware and expert picture hanging. We highly recommend him and will use his services anytime there's a need."

"Mark was great! He was extremely thorough and genuinely want to make sure that we were pleased with his work. He arrived on time and even made some suggestions that would improve the aesthetic appeal of our project. We would definitely hire Mark again!"

"I was given someone in the company that could take on side jobs to meet my needs, The male that was sent appeared disheveled and not professional. A few simple jobs were completed and then communication was very fell through. There were multiple text stating when he would come to complete job with no call and no show. I was very aggravated by the unprofessional courtesy that I was given. My time seemed unimportant in the times given for return service."

Pole Barn Builders questions, answered by experts

Building a tiny house is the least complicated way to build, especially if you’re tackling the project as a DIY. The smaller size means less complex plans, more straightforward utility installation, and fewer ways to make costly errors. Tiny homes still need to conform to building codes and often have other applicable regulations, so be sure to get the proper permits and confirm your build is by the book.

Whether building a playground or installing a pre-made one is more affordable depends on the materials of each. In most cases, it’s more affordable to build a wooden playground than it is to buy one and have it professionally installed, but it might be less expensive to invest in a pre-made plastic playground, even if you pay a professional to install it. Wooden playgrounds tend to last longer, but as children age, they will become less valuable. Overall, it may be most affordable to have a pro install a pre-made plastic playground.

It’s much less expensive to build a house with wood. This is because wood is relatively inexpensive, strong enough to endure decades or even centuries of weathering and pressure, and is easier to replace if there are issues. The cost of stone houses are incredibly expensive, heavy, time-consuming to build, and difficult to repair.

In the U.S., original and converted carriage houses are most often found in New England, New York, and other parts of the Northeast. New construction carriage houses can be found across the country, and are often added to properties with Colonial-style homes for additional living, storage, or work space, although they can be found in many different styles.

The timeline to build your barn will depend on the barn type and the company you hire. A pole barn may take six weeks or so, while a traditionally framed or steel-framed barn can take four months or longer. Building a barndominium takes the longest because you are essentially building a new home. You can expect barndominiums to take six months or longer to build.
