"These guys did an amazing job. I am glad I did not listen to any of the reviews on Facebook because unfortunately there was some bad ones. I went with my gut and I’m glad I did. Craig and Mike were excellent. They listen to all my concerns and even changed a few things with no complaints at all. I will definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone in the future. Thank you again for all that you did. It truly came out amazing."

"The installation and full kitchen remodel by Evolution construction, including the quartz and granite work, turned out absolutely perfect. The cabinets were finished with a high-gloss matte relief, and the transformation of my kitchen was truly from 0 to 100. I’m very happy I chose to work with them. They completed the project within the agreed timeline, and I didn’t experience any issues throughout the process. From the moment they started until the final day, there were no delays and the team remained fully committed. I’m truly grateful to Evolution construction for the outstanding job they did on my property."

Small jobs welcome

"Interior painting was perfect and for a great price. We also had them pressure wash and paint our fence. Our house was on the market and they also did a couple of touch ups on the exterior without charge. For the fence painting, they were concerned about overspray into the neighbors property so they used a brush and roller to be on the safe side - all without any extra charge. They were professional, likeable, and actually fun to have around. Overall, the work completed was outstanding and they made my moving process much smoother. If I were staying in the area, they would be my "go to" people for any painting jobs."

"Spencer explained how they would proceed and the time it would take.  Everything went as contracted.  Spencer offered advice on colors when asked and left the job clean daily.  No "drips, runs, errors".

"They did an awesome job! They were there every day. They told me they would be there, they worked late to keep the job on schedule. They also helped around doing anything else that needed to be done. I would highly recommend them. I am hiring them again to do another project for me at the moment."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Your tool of choice ultimately comes down to personal preference. Many DIYers prefer applying stain with a lint-free rag, but others stick with a paint brush or a roller. Wipe the stain and work it into the wood, working with and against the grain. If you’re applying multiple coats, allow the stain to dry for around four hours between coats.

The best paint for an older deck depends on the material and whether or not your deck already has a coat of paint. Generally, if your deck already has paint on it, you should choose the same type of paint when repainting the deck. For example, if an old deck has oil-based paint on it, stick with oil; if your deck has water-based paint, choose water-based paint.

The number of coats you need to apply when whitewashing a surface depends on how opaque you want the final product to be. If you're going for a transparent, barely there look, a single coat or two may suffice. For fuller coverage, you'll want to use multiple coats. Another option is to use a less diluted paint to get a thicker coverage.

Yes, it is generally a very good idea to seal your deck after pressure washing. Power washing removes not only dirt and debris but also a thin layer of wood, leaving the surface exposed and more susceptible to weathering. Sealing is almost always needed after this process. After a general cleaning, sealing isn't automatically necessary if the existing sealant is still intact. You can test the surface by placing a few drops of water on it. If the water beads up, the sealant is working. If it soaks into the wood, it's time to apply a new sealant. If it has been a few years, it's wise to remove the old sealant, wash the deck, and reseal for maximum protection.

You should refinish your deck to maintain its appearance, durability, and longevity. Refinishing your deck protects the wood from foot traffic and the elements. It also helps extend its life span by keeping rot, mildew, and termites at bay. By maintaining your deck, you can avoid the cost of replacing your deck sooner. A refinished deck also looks great and restores some of its original beauty.
