Laminate flooring should be stacked horizontally and laid flat to avoid any warping or stress to the boards. In a wet room, you need a floor that won’t sustain damage with constant exposure to water, but your options are normally the same as with a bathroom. For floating floors, install the cabinets first and then lay the flooring up to them.
