In my case, I have an older house, which still had an original threshold on one of the main entry doors. It was in bad shape and there was too much air coming in at the bottom. Mr. Roddy advised me on what hardware to buy, and came and performed the job. As with older houses, sometimes the job requires more work. He did not hesitate and removed the door, trimmed the bottom to square it up with the new threshold. He even volunteered to put paint on the top and bottom edges of the door to seal it from dampness. I am 100% satisfied with his work and the price. I have total confidence in Mr. Roddy, and I would say that you can, too!"

"On November 21st I got to see some real professionals so let me say thank you to start. I thought I was a good roofer but seeing this team made me rethink efficiency and teamwork and I always appreciate reality checks. Those guys were here ready to work and I was greeted by Omar and a gentleman from Texas that I cannot remember his name. Both were very conversational and cordial like they were both guests at my house. The work started at 8:00 am with at least 8 young folk here stripping off the old roof and they worked right through their lunch. I pointed out to Omar that I wanted to trim one of trees with branches overhanging the roof and when I walked out to do it, that task was already completed. I did notice the degree of tarp use in keeping the site clean and the attention everyone took to make sure it stayed that way. They stripped the roof, replaced the plywood that needed replacing and installed the new shingles with just as much care, even with the guy that came out periodically to see the progress. I noted that they were very careful not to hit that guy when he came out! Then the clean-up started with as much vigor and frankly, I have never seen anything like it. Everyone participated, had the same attention level and treated the yard like it was theirs. They were done by 5:00 pm and I have only found one nail since then. Of course, I tipped them but did not think I tipped them enough! I would thoroughly recommend Guy Brothers Roofing for any job that they took on because of the level of service, the level of great work and the level of respect that the entire crew demonstrated on the 21st. "Kris Mellert, Project Manager, provided a reasonably-priced quote for GAF shingles on a size 4700 residential roof. The workers were prompt and efficient, Kris was at the home several times to check the quality of workmanship. After two days the beautiful roof was completed with the dumpster removed."

"This remodeling took 3 months and was very extensive due to the kitchen and master bathroom were leveled down to the foundation slab. Everything was replaced in kitchen; lights, electrical sockets removed or changed, flooring, cabinets, all appliances, added trash compactors, painting, replacing baseboards, backsplash tile and mural. Master bathroom included moving a couple walls, lights, electrical sockets removed or changed, flooring, replacing baseboards and adding quarter-round, changing ceiling texture, and painting. I mention this list (which isn't comprehensive) to give you an idea of the extensive amount of work. This is important because I have a very keen eye for the quality of a contractor's work, due to my skills, and I used to be in the contracting business for a short time many years ago. My observations are to make sure all work agreed on and changes are in writing, because it will help everyone involved agree to the work required. We disagreed on a few changes, but Jimmie was professional and we came to an understanding that worked for us both. If your work is a major project like mine was then expect delays like I did. He expected 6-8 weeks and it took 11 weeks. That's not bad. We had to find another tile crew which is what delayed the project. That's not Jimmie's fault, but every contractor needs to have other people to call to pick up the slack. The quality of the work IS top quality, He is respectful and do clean up there daily trash. The painting is great if Brian does that work. Lastly, they DO show up to do repairs after the work is done, but it may take a couple requests to pin down a time. That's really good when they're backed up several months like everyone."

They discussed the project and materials before I hired them, completed the work as promised and painted an adjacent wall to match and modified the original agreement slightly to improve the project. They cleaned the work area before they left. They had to return a second day to apply a second paint coat but would not accept any payment until all work was done."
