Specializing in foundation repair, push piers, helical piles, pre-construction helical piles, soil stabilization, void filling, crawlspace repairs, slab lifting/leveling and seawall repair. We do not offer services on mobile or modular homes or pour new concrete foundations.

"Great! These guys were very professional and hardworking. They kept me posted how on how the repair was progressing, and took time to explain and demonstrate to me how their system was working on my house. Travis, Randall, and the rest of the crew are clearly good at their trade, and showed great care stabilizing the foundation without creating more problems. They also even began the job a day earlier than the salesman had hinted might be the start date, in this crazy time of supply and labor shortages. Exceeded my expectations! In the unlikely event I would need another house foundation repaired, I'd call them again."

We specialize in kitchen and bathroom remodel. Being fabricators/laborers allow us to complete a project faster than the rest. we have over 20 years' experience in construction and home improvement.

"While fixing the new homeowner new residence, “Best Kitchen and Bath” were contracted on 01/31/22 due to an example of the services provided by Gil Rivera. As of 04/08/23 the work is still incomplete and the contractor, Gil Rivera refuses to answer any calls or messages. There were multiple agreements on the construction of various rooms, specifically with safety for the elderly & disabled. For example, grab rails that can support the weight of senior in the shower due to the danger of falls that were never completed. The caulking for the appliances was never completed, and the residents had to install the shelves by themselves since Gil was not available and refused to answer the phone for them. The walls that were used were so cheap that they came apart as dust particles built into the paint itself. When cutting templates for the bathroom, they did it on the freshly installed countertops leaving their bare surface riddled with cuts. There was no hardware left for the shelving units and the Nuss family had to buy new hardware, as well as hire new help to install the bathroom cabinets that was originally contracted to Gil Rivera who had just sent someone over to see what was needed (less than 3 times), but did nothing to resolve the issue. The kitchen cabinets are missing the caulking on the edges as well as kick plates, back splashes, and crown molding, which was never installed, even though the homeowners paid for them to be. The workers consistently banged into the bathroom doors leaving scratches in the respective doorways. No matter how many times he was contacted, he never returned, nor answered any message until days later if at all. His employees acknowledge his behavior and say, “that’s just how he is”. Regardless of the incomplete work and inability to get in touch with, the company can’t be reached for compensation to actually install what was contracted to. In the kitchen, his workers pulled up all the quarter-round surfaces, but never replaced them. 2 cabinets were supposed to have glass inserts but were never installed leaving 2 cabinets with holes where the glass was supposed to cover. The cabinets themselves are not attached to the walls securely leaving them dangerous and making them “handle with care” items. The cabinets can’t be filled to their capacity or even to a "safe" amount due to their flimsy installation. This has left the very fragile cabinets when handling, with the constant worry that they may fall off the wall at any moment. Included in this installation was the incorrect leveling/lining up of the cabinet doors, leaving them uneven due to improper installation. The homeowners moved to Summerfield for retirement and were promised the dream home that they desired, and paid Gil for the promised quality work, yet the job is STILL incomplete. The home is now in worst condition than before his incomplete work started. They gutted the house to install new equipment, yet nothing was completed properly/at all and truly looks terrible, leaving the residents with a horrible looking job and in debt so they can’t hire someone to fix it and feel they were taken advantage of specifically due to their age & disabilities. They’ve tried contacting Gil for compensation, yet they can’t get an answer from him and are truly looking for help finishing their dream home which they were contractually promised, but with insecure installation, this has left the house more compromised than before they contracted him. They are left in the dark by the contractor who can’t be trusted or even contacted! The plumber who was used by Gil Rivera's company (Robinson’s Plumbing Inc.) was extremely sloppy, leaving ALL of the faucets/shower heads in the house to leak continuously even though he was paid $2,200 for the correct installation. The master bathroom shower is loose, leaving them worried it may come apart at the wall. The toilets selected by the plumber didn’t fit, forcing the couple to buy new toilets that fit the correct measurements after being given improper guidance. Certain requirements that were communicated to the plumber were left to be ignored. The wax rings were installed incorrectly in both bathrooms and are visible from afar. When there is a leak, gold & black ooze seeps from all around the floor where the toilets are installed and repetitive cleaning does NOTHING to fix the appearance of a job horribly & incorrectly done. They called the contractor and were initially promised it would be fixed the next day and following that, the plumber still hasn’t returned for the repairs that they paid for in full. He will not answer their calls, return the messages left or any form of communication leaving them to feel that are being strung around for time to pass as nothing is right and no attempts at repairing the issues were made or even attempted."

Chimney Inspection questions, answered by experts

We recommend scheduling routine plumbing inspections once a year for an average house. Older homes may need more frequent inspections, while newer homes might get by with less frequent inspections—every two years. Homes with many mature tree species known for extensive root systems also benefit from more inspections, as roots are a common culprit for cracked sewer and water lines.

The short answer is yes. Room additions almost always increase a home's value. But just how much they increase it varies by the materials you choose, the type of room you build, and other factors. For instance, adding a sunroom will yield you a 49% return on your investment, while adding a primary suite results in a 63% return on your investment.

The foundation, roof, and the home’s major systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) will take the longest to inspect since problems with any of these areas can point to safety or structural issues. An attic inspection or basement inspection may also take extra time to complete so the inspector can look for signs of moisture damage, mold, or pest problems, all of which are common in these spaces.

To determine if you’re being overcharged, request an itemized price breakdown of the project. Check for hidden fees or project expenses, from parts to labor, that are clearly overpriced. However, the easiest way to know if a contractor is overcharging you is by getting an estimate for the same project from another professional. Negotiating with a contractor if you have another bid for a lower price is possible.

Waiving a home inspection could be beneficial if you’re buying a home in a hot location where the seller has many other offers to consider, especially if other buyers are willing to waive the inspection. However, it’s not usually a good idea to waive an inspection, even on new construction. Inspections can identify problems that could cost thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars, so a formal inspection is always worthwhile. If you’re having a new home built, a pre-drywall inspection is often the most valuable, but a final inspection before you close is also a good idea.
