We now work on New Construction, Residential, and 6+ Associations. We believe if you treat every job like a million dollars you will always have a million dollar outcome.

"George came the first day with his wife and removed the old cabinets from the wall with the help from my husband. Was at my house for a total of 4 hrs. I was also told that he would not remove the torn out cabinets from property even though it was written in the contract. 2nd day he arrived with a helper and torn down the soffit from the ceiling and drywall part of what he town down. Left a big hole on the left side of my kitchen where he did not have time to put up drywall. Was at my house another 4 hrs and had to leave because he had to do something with his son. Received a call from his wife saying that he was in a car accident and would not be in on Friday. I asked when he would be back and was told she did not know that he had an MRI on Wednesday. I found a neighbor that would finish up the job because I did not know when George was coming back and when I contacted him concerning returned part of my money (i was requesting 50% back of the $1000 that I already gave him and was told that there was 60% of the work done and that they would only give me $250 back. The drywall still had to be replaced on the left side of my kitchen and mudded/sanded and the new kitchen cabinets needed to be installed with new granite countertop and sink. He was suppose to do all of this for me and only thing he did was remove the old cabinets from the wall and did part of the drywall. I would not do business with the company again. Poor workmanship, only working part of a day."

Playground Equipment questions, answered by experts

Wood, metal, and plastic are common materials. Choose based on durability, aesthetics, and maintenance needs.

Rubber mulch is widely considered the best material to place under a playset. This material option provides more cushioning than traditional wood mulch for added protection, remains cooler than sand and most other materials in direct sunlight, and it’s low maintenance. Rubber mulch is slightly more expensive than other common options at $120 per cubic yard on average, whereas pine bark mulch is $30 per cubic yard. But when it comes to your children’s safety, the investment is worthwhile. Consult your playground equipment installation company about material recommendations before starting this project.

Whether building a playground or installing a pre-made one is more affordable depends on the materials of each. In most cases, it’s more affordable to build a wooden playground than it is to buy one and have it professionally installed, but it might be less expensive to invest in a pre-made plastic playground, even if you pay a professional to install it. Wooden playgrounds tend to last longer, but as children age, they will become less valuable. Overall, it may be most affordable to have a pro install a pre-made plastic playground.

The average lifespan for a playset is around eight to ten years, but you can probably make it last to 15 years with good weather conditions and proper maintenance. If you’re purchasing a pre-made playset, some brands offer warranties for up to 25 years—long after your kiddos are grown.

Generally speaking, building a swing set is cheaper than buying a prefabricated one, but this assumes you have all the tools and knowledge to complete the project. The average cost to build a swing set is $514, but you should also factor in the time and effort it will require—if you don’t want to give up your weekend, it’s worth considering buying instead of building.
