They were very friendly. The work is good. Although I voiced some concerns I have but nothing was done about my concerns. I basically have a non functional ramp. In my opinion. My concern were if the wheelchair could go in and out the door. Then the ramp ends at the end of cement slab. So you have to go off slab into grass and then on the ramp. I can't push it in the grass and that area floods when it rains. Then I asked about handrails and was told it would have them But only half the ramp has handrails. Then on the side rails on ramp are off center which makes it look unfinished like it's missing a rail. Also questioned a soft spot with a small lip . That's all it was was addressed nothing else. I was told they would fix it so I wouldn't have to go in the grass but that never happened. That was over a month ago and haven't heard from him since.

We found Ray and Dan’s via Angie list. What a find they were!! We needed tile work done for 3 bedrooms in our home. Ray was very prompt with getting out to house and getting quote of work drawn up. It was a no brainer. Quote for job was very reasonable. They came out within days of quote and started. Max was our man for our plan! 😉 Max is a wizard at tiling making very accurate cuts, and without any tow stubbers. You can slide a bucket straight across the floors without it catching on the tile. Thats pretty good, being that 2 of the rooms were off level. Max made it look great! Wonderful craftsmanship with attention to the little details as well. Very efficient at his work! We have worked with Ray & Dan's Home Repair and Remodeling LLC for the past 2 years. Ray and Max are professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and reasonable. They are completing a full renovation of 1920 dutch-colonial house in Mulberry for us that took over 8 months. There were a lot of unforeseen roadblocks along the way that delayed our construction progress but they hung in there with us and worked well with other contractors to get this job to completion.

I have worked with Ray Dan's Home Repair on several homes now and each time it has been a easy and hassle-free process. Call up Ray and speak about the scope of work, get a quote (very reasonable one, at that) and discuss any additional change orders that need to happen as time goes on such as unforeseen repairs or changes to material selections. I would and likely will hire them again for additional home repairs.

Excellent installation. We had vinyl flooring planks installed in 3 bedrooms by Ray and Dan's Home Repair. They were very professional and helped us decide on the correct flooring during our consultation. Their price was very fair and they did a quality job with the flooring install. We are very happy with our choice and will definitely use Ray and Dan's Home Repair for our future home remodeling needs!

Over a week ago I asked for an estimate on the shower floor. They go out and look at the house on Tuesday. It's now Sunday and he states that he can't give me an estimate. The job was clear on what was needed. Why not tell me the same day so I could find someone else? Very unprofessional. He appeared to be annoyed because I found someone to repair the drywall (wasnt listed on Angie's list to be done) instead of him.

"Told this customer on our first communication that I was very busy and didn't know how soon I could get to it, and he stated that this was the downstairs bath and there was a second bath upstairs so there was no problem if it would be a while before I get out there. Know it seems there a problem when I finally found out I wasn't going to be able to work it in. Most people call several contractor,especially when they say that they would have to work-in the estimate. Not my fault he didn't call more repair people when he called me."

came and took measurements and went over all I needed then next day got a text message "Robert checked with my deck man and he's backed up and not doing estimates at all for at least 2 months. So I won't be able to complete an estimate for you I'm sorry for that." I'm glad I didn't hire them. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible! They are the worst, and I've been working with contractors for almost 40 years. Late every day, quality of work was terrible. Had total children's bathroom remodel. Ray mis-estimated the job--tiles, floor tiles, and his handyman helper who did all the work, broke several of the glass tiles and was actually going to leave them as completed until I balked. Everything had drama attached to it. Work was sloppy. Took down popcorn ceiling and covered entire house is thick white dust. They didn't seal anything. Measured for a new front door for me. Would not let them install after the bathroom debacle. Had us special order a door ($4,000) that was 3.5 inches shorter than our opening. Insisted we needed a special order door. Carpenter who did install did the job with great ease, but opening would have fit a standard size door. Bathroom job was way more costly and angst-ridden than it needed to be. At one point, when I complained that there were so many add-ons, Ray told me to relax. I didn't have to take out a mortgage. Proceed cautiously if you hire them. BTW, I have photos, emails and tests of everything.

"Mrs. [Member Name Removed], Had all her complaints were addressed and the balance of labor only which came to a total of $5,970.00 was paid, and her last email to me, "Which I still have on my phone was (beautiful thanks) which was sent on Nov. 9, 2018 12:57 pm. I haven't had any calls from her with new problems since then. (Not sure why this review is being posted 3-months later if Mrs. [Member Name Removed] wasn't satisfied at that time and paid the final balance.) I even paid for the balance of all part's to finish the job. Half way thru the job she didn't want to pay for any more part's which wasn't in the original contract. I didn't hire a handyman! he was a 57-year old licensed and insured professional. This is the only customer that has complained about any work in 33-yrs of being in business. Ray & Dan's Home Repair and Remodeling was very professional from the start. Ray completed the first three projects quotes for a house renovation that went off tracks from a previous handy man within 5 days. I was very impress with Ray's quick response to my emails and phone calls. I am a out of state owner and couldn't be onsite every few days to check on progress. Ray would send pictures of completed work or status of ongoing long term project. He would email me summary reports to keep me updated without asking. Ray was dependable, keeping to his word and completing work on time and as quoted. When other contractors were needed like electrical and plumbing, Ray reached out with his extensive relationships with other local contacts and moved the project along. Ray responded immediately when the plumber contractor needed something that day. Due to his many decades of experience and skill, Ray was able to overcome multiple difficulties on this full house renovation. The workmanship and care taken to minor details revealed when the final walk through was performed. The house was transformed into a beautiful home. I am very thankful and fortunate that I found and choose Ray & Dan's Home Repair and Remodeling as the company to save me from financial & rehab disaster. You can take a chance on going with another handy man without a license or insurance or overpay for a company with expensive ads, but if you want high quality work, excellent value, and peace of mind then I recommend choosing Ray & Dan's as your trustworthy problem solver.

My house and garage were in need of fresh paint with a color change. Since I no longer do ladders that well, I reached out to Ray for a little help. After going over all that needed to be done, we agreed for Ray to paint the entire garage along with all the upper trim on the house. He and his helper did a great job with no excess paint splatter or mess on anything that was not to be painted.

This is not the first time I've used Ray for a project that was beyond me. My side entry door was not closing properly and was original to the house. Ray came by several times just to check his measurements before purchasing the correct door as mine was not a common size. As usual, he showed up when he said he would, replaced the door and included a new lock set and dead bolt. His fee was for everything, including the door. No extras after the quote.

I would recommend Ray and Dan's Home Repair and Remodeling due to the quality of the work they did for us. We had an exterior door and frame that had begun to rot. They tore out all of that and replaced it with better materials and it looks just like new. The second project was to repair water damage due to a leak. They repaired a couple places on the ceiling and also the wall. It, too, looks great. The guys were very punctual and worked quickly. I plan to use them again if anything further needs to be done around our home.
