We will get your property exactly how you want it. Landscaping, hardscaping, fencing, tree work, dirt work, etc. No matter the job, we can get it done.

"I should have known right from the start when Kasey (McDonald Construction) showed up with battery powered equipment for my sod install giving me an estimate. Not only did they lay the sod directly over the old grass, but Kasey said it would live. Looking back the sod they laid had good roots and green, but had little to no dirt. So with all the watering we did (daily) did nothing to get the sod to take root, especially the sod that was laid on top of existing grass. So much for the battery powered EGO small tiller."

Pro Exteriors Pressure Washing proudly serves its customers with pride, integrity and attention to the details that matter most to you. This is one of the many things that sets us apart from the rest. We are locally owned and operated. Give us a call today!

"We have about a half acre lot with about 8 massive white oak trees that had dropped a good half to foot of leaves across the entire yard. I had gotten a few quotes (tried to get more but the other people never showed or called back), and Andrew was competitive on price, but was by far the most prompt and professional when I met him. The team showed up exactly when they said they would, worked hard and efficiently, and most importantly didn’t leave a leaf in site at the end (no bags either!). We are extremely happy with the work and results and plan to use them next year."

Lawn Fertilization and Treatment questions, answered by experts

In the fall, you should aerate the soil, overseed the bare spots, kill weeds, mow the lawn low, and rake your leaves. By boosting your lawn’s health in the fall, your grass will be stronger throughout the winter and come back healthier in the spring. You should also trim your perennials so that they withstand the winter and are ready for new growth in the spring.

There are several best practices you can do to keep your lawn looking healthy. Knowing when to water grass is among the most important. Having your sprinkler timer set to early morning is best because it gives your grass and plants enough time to absorb water before the sun and wind can evaporate it. To maximize a sprinkler’s impact, aerate your lawn once or twice per year. Doing this achieves better absorption and stronger root systems for your grass.

Overfertilizing can burn and kill the grass as well as upset the soil's nutrient balance, leaving your grass prone to disease and infestation. You'll know that you have overfertilized your burn when you have recently fertilized and begin to see brown and yellow patches of dead grass that need to be reseeded.

Whether organic or synthetic fertilizers are better for your lawn depends on your goals, budget, and plans for other lawn treatments. Organic fertilizer costs more but is likely to benefit your lawn more in the long run by improving the soil as well as feeding your grass. Synthetic fertilizers get faster results but don’t enrich the soil and may contaminate nearby bodies of water if you live on a shoreline. A hybrid fertilizer may be an option to give you the benefits found in both organic and synthetic fertilizers.

One of the most effective ways to improve lawn absorption is to learn how to aerate your lawn. This is a process where you poke tiny holes all throughout it to break up tough soil and sediment, creating pathways for sunlight, water, air, and nutrients to seep into the plant’s roots. In turn, it promotes stronger root systems, making your lawn or plants less susceptible to pests and disease. Ideally, you’ll want to aerate your lawn at least once per year during the growing season—think late summer to early fall.
