"I cannot recommend them enough!! We had used ScreenForce a few years ago to fix a few panels on our pool enclosure. Their website is so quick and easy to select exactly what you need repaired/replaced, schedule a convenient time, and know EXACTLY what your total will be. They were in and finished within just a few days of scheduling, I couldn’t believe it. When a hail storm came through last August 2020 and turned our pool screen into Swiss cheese... we needed a total re-screen! The roofing company that our insurance company paid was dragging their feet to get things done and by January I had enough. I contacted ScreenForce through their website and received a phone call almost immediately to verify the extent of our damage. They got us a quote, which was significantly lower than the roofing company’s subcontractor, and had us on their schedule in about a week. The work was outstanding and included things like cable tightening and replacing tap con screws, which I hadn’t even thought of. I’ve honestly never had a better experience with any home contractor in my life, hands down. I cannot recommend them enough!"

Window Screen Repair questions, answered by experts

Window repairs cost $175 to $615, depending on the type of repair. Because double-hung windows have two sashes and multiple pieces of hardware, like locks and handles, there are many parts that can break over time. Repairing locks, latches, or other hardware costs about $75 to $200 and is easy to DIY. Fixing one or multiple sashes costs about $200 to $600.

No, but removing window screens will achieve a deeper clean. If you aren’t sure how to remove your screens, you can still clean them while in your window. You can follow the same cleaning steps, but you may not be able to get into corners or struggle to clean the entire screen if the window is up high.

There are a number of ways to secure windows. You can add motion detectors or window sensors to detect movement and impact or change the window locks to make them stronger. Some of the ways you can secure windows are much like how you secure a home: closing the curtains at night and setting up security cameras outside so you can monitor your property even in your absence.

Garage door screens can expand your living space, turning a garage into a home office, gym, or entertainment space. They provide comfortable ventilation, insect control, and privacy, allowing you to enjoy your space all year round. Consult a local garage door screen installer to add this feature to your space.

Drafts, condensation between panes, difficulty operating, or visible frames or glass damage are signs of needed repairs.
