"We had a big mold issue at our condo, and I’m so glad we called Aquadry. From the start, Allan came out for the inspection and was super thorough and honest about what needed to be done. You could tell he really knows his stuff and wasn’t trying to upsell anything—just straightforward and professional. We got multiple quotes and theirs was very competitive and with a 1 year guarantee. Nina in the office was also fantastic! She kept everything organized, answered all our questions quickly, and made scheduling and communication super easy. It really felt like they cared about doing the job right and making the process stress-free for us. The team handled the whole remediation smoothly and left everything clean and safe. Highly recommend Aquadry if you’re dealing with any mold issues—great people, great service!"

"Perfectly, Robert showed up exactly on time. He was able to open the realty lock box and enter the vacant home several minutes before the real estate agent arrived. Roobert performed all of the inspection requirements plus several additional things that were not part of the normal inspection procedure. He made sure everything was in operating order. The inspection report was promptly delivered, by internet, within 24 hours of the inspection, including clear photos of all rooms and fixtures. Nothing was left for only written interpretation."

"Stand up guys. They came in strong with their bid, and followed the timeline they set for all the work that was needed. I’ve used other GC’s in the past and was not happy. So I decided to find another company to give a shot and I’m super happy that I did. These guys were extremely professional, worked with my situation, did not complain and were focused on solutions not porblems. I will 100% use them again for any future work. These are professionals you can count on!"

"Wonderful! Great team. Would have liked to hire again but the only thing is that the owner died. When I called for some additional work I needed. So, not sure who is taking over for him. So, just beware that the owner has died."

Lead Testing and Removal questions, answered by experts

You do not have to remove lead paint if the surface is not chipping or peeling or if there are no pregnant people or children under the age of six who live in or regularly visit your home. Lead paint is a particular risk for young children whose brains and bodies are not fully developed. Experts strongly recommend that you call a pro to remove lead paint if it’s peeling or flaking, no matter who lives in the home. You can experience lead poisoning by breathing in or ingesting just a small amount of it.

Some of the signs that could mean your water is contaminated, such as cloudiness or bubbliness, could also be non-problems that don’t affect your water’s potability. However, if your water smells or tastes strange, it’s a good idea to stop drinking it and test it immediately. If your well water is contaminated, the best way to discover that is to test it.

Some causes of brown well water—like excess tannins or dissolved iron—don’t pose a health risk. In other cases, harmful bacteria might be the culprit. If your well water has suddenly turned brown, it’s a good idea to use a home water test kit to get a better sense of what’s going on with your water. Consider calling a professional for an expert opinion before drinking the water and hoping for the best.

You should ask a few questions to ensure that your potential lead removal professional is experienced and qualified to handle lead-paint abatement safely, legally, and properly.

  • What are your qualifications and experience removing lead-based paint?

  • Are you licensed and certified to remove lead-based paint?

  • How do you test for lead paint?

  • What methods do you use for lead-based paint abatement?

  • What do you plan to do with the hazardous material when you remove it from the home?

  • Do you do replacement and painting work or removal only?

Government regulations such as the EPA and OSHA govern lead removal procedures to ensure health and environmental safety during and after abatement.
