Floor Busters came in and did an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING JOB! They were professional, courteous, clean and their workmanship was incredible! Not an ounce of dust to be found! They hung plastic where needed, respected the clients home, cut the tile perfectly where it was not being ripped up, removed the tile, grinded the floor, went back and scraped by hand, vacuumed EVERYTHING, removed the plastic they hung and cleaned as they left the house. These guys were amazing and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone! If you are looking to have tile removed without the headache and heartache of dust please call them. You won't be disappointed!"

Then lay plastic, canvas, rosin paper, or masonite sheets across the room, securing them at the edges with masking tape. Plan your painting so that you minimize the chances you’ll step in and track any splatters.

Laminate flooring takes about 24 to 48  hours to settle. Before this, planks are not completely acclimated to your home, and walking on them could cause shifting and permanent damage to the flooring. You should allow floorboards to acclimate for 48 to 72 hours before installing so that they can adjust to your home’s humidity and temperature levels, but they will continue to acclimate and settle after installation. For this reason, avoid placing any furniture in the room for 72 hours after installation.

Your floors will continue to settle for a few months after installation, becoming less bouncy as they rest.

There are a few carpet maintenance tips you’ll want to use to keep your carpet looking brand-new. Make sure you tackle stains immediately, and only use cleaners gentle enough for your carpet's specific fibers. You can even pop area rugs on top of wall-to-wall carpeting to change the look of your space and protect the carpet below.
