Property Renovations & ConstructionBrian Hare, the owner, LISTENS! He really understood us and what we wanted and gave us a beautiful proposal - more to our liking than any of the others. He personally came shopping with us, brought us to his suppliers and others so we could pick out doors, windows, cabinets, etc. so the details were exactly what we wanted. He checked on the progress often and gave us several extras along the way. We actually lived in the house as his crew worked on it. They all were easy and fun to work with. They all took our needs and wants into consideration and almost always went out of their way to accommodate us. My computer was in our FL room which was completely gutted. They re-wired my system so that I could use it while they worked. They also made several custom details per our requests. By the end of the project, which added 680 sq ft, we had become friends with Brian and each of his crew - especially Mike, the master carpenter who was here every day and was in charge of the job. It was really convenient to us to have one person there all the time who was in charge. The project was finished on time and we now enjoy our new space, which integrates into the rest of the house so well that it doesn't look like an add-on. Brian was so proud of the finished product that he brought his family and father over to show it off. Our house has become an 'icon' within our community thanks to their workmanship and design. In fact, to our surprise, the extension and patio was featured on the cover of our community directory the following year. We thank Brian and his crew for making a 3 month ordeal into a fun and exciting time.- Ed P.

WINDOWS BY GRACEWe used them about 2 years ago. Previous experience: There are two tiny bathroom windows that were difficult to provide standard window treatments for. However, Windows by Grace was able to measure and create the perfect window treatments for both bathroom windows, and after they created these custom, in their factory, these were installed by this company in less than half an hour. These only took a week to order, custom crafted by this company, and professionally done. I am completely happy with all that they do. Thank you, so much for a job well done. I will definitely buy more from this company, as soon as my budget allows. Two years later. New experience: We called them back to do all of our windows. They kept us on file, and remembered what we ordered from before. We were able to install the same verticals as were installed in our bathroom throughout our entire home. I was impressed about the record-keeping that allowed us to match the verticals that were installed two years prior. First, the owner came out to the home and measured the verticals. A few weeks later, after they were custom-made, they called to schedule avisit to install the verticals. We do animal rescue, and are part of the TNR Program (Trap, neuter/spay and then release back to the wild). We are impressed how well these verticals lasted two years with all the stress the animals put them through. The ones purchased at the store never lasted like the ones in the bathroom installed by “Windows by Grace.” We are all so happy the company remembered the verticals ordered, previously, and how quickly these same verticals were installed throughout our home. We hope the new verticals last just as long as the ones that are still in new condition inside our bathroom. Jonathan Schroer with Property Renovations and Construction (PRC) provided that expert advice and guided me through the process of dealing with the insurance company. He took the time to inspect the roof, listen to the insurance situation, and provide a path forward. He worked hand in hand with Paramount Adjustment to resolve the insurance issue and then put on a great quality roof with little out of pocket expense from me. I cannot give high enough praise for PRC and for Paramount Adjustment. Kraig Jenner, the PRC Project Manager, and his crew were super throughout the re-roofing process, and the new roof looks great. I highly recommend PRC to anyone looking for an honest and knowledgeable roofing company.

Jim at K&Y was great in showing me the options and pricing out the job. I had snowbirds coming so the project needed to be completed on time. The demo guys showed up right on schedule and did a great job in removing old flooring, but more importantly, they ground down the concrete so the floor we level. The installation of porcelein tile took about 3 days, and was professionally done. The only reason that I did not give "straight A's" was because I didn't get other quotes, so I don't know if the price was reasonable. I trusted Jim and the Angie's List ratings. As far as professionalism, the installation was professional and the installer was a hard worker.
