Customers say: Quick response

"B&I Construction REVIEW: From my first phone call this company was polite, professional and accommodating. The experienced painters came at a very reasonable time and used all of their time completely focused on the job of pressure washing, patching, detailing and prepping for the painting of my house. B&I Construction always kept politely ahead of every fine detail as requested, just as clearly stated in their prompt and fair proposal. Throughout the process of painting my home exterior and smaller shed exterior, the professional team arrived ready with equipment and materials needed to complete a solid day. Production continued until painting was up to the owner's high standard at each level of progress. Really great. Every small and large part of this exterior painting was handled with thoughtful care to protection of my property such as windows and AC unit which were covered thoroughly as they moved quickly through the work ...and cleaned everything surrounding the project to the smallest piece of tape! My few requests for adjustments were happily received and completed. The meeting of colors are clear and lines are crisp. B&I Construction is an excellent company. I am planning to hire them again for deck stairs construction needed now to look as good as my freshly painted house does! I highly recommend B&I Construction."

"I called several contractors before selecting Fine Design Builders for my project. Eric responded immediately and met with me shortly thereafter to start designing my kitchen and provide me a quote. He clearly had lots of experience and was able to make my vision a reality. We spent a day selecting cabinets, backsplash, countertop, tiles. I was given lots of options and colors to choose from. His team showed up ON TIME every day. Eric was always easily accessible by phone throughout the project and made sure that his team stayed on track. He removed the soffits and replaced cabinets, backsplash, countertop. New lighting and appliances. Flooring and crown molding extended into my family room. I love my new kitchen and would definitely call Eric and his team again for future projects."

Stucco questions, answered by experts

You can use small bits that are up to 3/8 inch in diameter, or larger bits that are 1/2 inch or more in diameter. Make sure the bits you use are coated with carbide or diamond; this information is usually visible on the package. You can also use hole saw bits to drill into stucco.

Quikrete will set without mixing. The process of pouring dry concrete into your concrete form and then adding water is called dry pouring. While this method makes pouring concrete simpler and easier, it reduces its strength and durability. It can be a viable option for small, decorative concrete pavers for walkways or for setting fence posts, but it’s not ideal for pouring slabs that will bear any significant amount of weight.

Yes, you can screw directly into stucco. Only do so if the item you are installing is a permanent fixture. Drill a pilot hole into the stucco using a masonry or concrete bit, then drive in the screw with a power drill or screwdriver.

Costs range from $500 to $2,000, depending on the damage size and texture matching.

The curing time for stucco typically takes several weeks to fully complete. During the curing process, the stucco undergoes a chemical reaction and gradually hardens. It's important to note that curing is different from drying. While the surface of the stucco may dry relatively quickly within a few hours or days, the curing process continues beneath the surface, strengthening and solidifying the stucco.

It's best to avoid excessive moisture exposure during the curing period, as it can impede the curing process. The exact curing time can vary based on factors such as temperature, humidity, and the specific stucco mixture used.
