"Hired them to paint my parents house. They were prompt, courteous and professional which was important to us. They did a great job and cleaned up everything when done. Work was completed on schedule. Very Happy and would recommend to anyone !"

Removal of popcorn. It is a messy process. We will drape a plastic curtain around the walls and place tarps on the floors to collect the debris.

"The project went great. Lewis was there everyday, easy to communicate with, and had great attention to detail. We ran into some minor problems with paint peeling from the walls when taking down the plastic sheets from popcorn removal, but Lewis fixed the walls up for us. For the duration of the project I felt that Lewis gave everything his best effort and we were thrilled with the outcome. I would hire him again and probably will to handle some other drywall needs around the property."

Wallpaper Removal questions, answered by experts

While you can remove wallpaper yourself, it is a labor-intensive process that risks damaging your walls. Common DIY methods include using a steamer to loosen the adhesive or spraying the paper with a solution of hot water and vinegar or dish soap before scraping. However, steamers can cause irreparable damage if used incorrectly, and the spray-and-scrape method can harm drywall if it gets too wet or you scrape too aggressively. For these reasons, hiring a professional is often the fastest, easiest, and safest option. A pro has the experience and specialized tools to remove wallpaper efficiently without damaging the underlying surface, which saves time and minimizes the prep work needed for your next wall treatment.

Prime and repaint walls after removal to ensure a clean, finished surface.

Many peel-and-stick wallpapers aren’t moisture-resistant, so if you install them in high-humidity rooms, mold can grow behind the wallpaper. It’s best to reserve peel-and-stick wallpaper for bedrooms, living rooms, and other rooms with lower humidity levels. Not only does this minimize the risk of mold growth, but it also keeps the wallpaper from bubbling or peeling.

Wallpaper in bathrooms can last anywhere from one to 10 years, depending on what type was used, how well it was installed, and the measures in place to reduce moisture and humidity levels. Opting for a more durable variety and taking all the necessary protective measures will get you closer to that longer lifespan.

Limewash can be removed from brick, but the method of removal will depend on how long the limewash has been on the brick. If the limewash has fully dried—which happens after about five days—you’ll need to use a diluted muriatic acid mixture to remove it. If there are multiple coats of limewash, you may need to apply the acid mixture several times to fully remove it from the brick.
