"Contractor did not complete job. Had to have him come back due to an issue that started after his initial visit. Said he would be back the following week to complete job. Texted him 11 days(Monday November 10)after last on site to my home. No reply to text. Contractor wasn?t the cheapest for this project. But I chose him because his presentation of his estimate. Maybe I should?ve save myself several hundred dollars and taken the cheapest estimate. The following is my last text to contractors: Good evening. I have not heard from you since October 30. You told me you would be back the following week. I would like to think that you are extremely busy, as to why you did not follow up. But then again you have been paid for a service that has not been completed. And another service that created another problem that has not been corrected. He never responded to my text messages. His review is full of dishonesty, and that is the reason I had no further use of his services. He never cleaned my dryer vent. He charged me $389 for a UV light that I could?ve gotten from Amazon for less than $60. I understand labor is a cost for installation. Yes, he returned the next day to address the air handler situation. He did something to make it run, but, within a couple of hours the problem started again. He?s a good salesman. But, what he sold was a lemon."

"This company does not do conscientious work. Chris seems to be more concerned with getting to his next call than spending the appropriate time to solve issues. Their work is sloppy because they do not do important things like re- taping plenums when they work on them or diagnosis beyond the 20 minutes they want to spend in your home. They do not ensure things are properly working. According to them everything is normal when you know it is not despite pointing out multiple issues when they arrive. All they worry about is taking pictures and videos to cya. They do not follow through and do a complete diagnosis and rush through hoping the problem will go away. And when the issues gets worse or they cause more problems they deflect and blame it on something else and gaslight you. Diagnosing via text is a thing now I guess. Now I have to pay someone else to fix their mess. 27 days later it is an ongoing problem and still broken and they will not respond. "

When I asked to talk to him several times, he finally called and offered to provide cleaning the following day. I asked him how he would like to be the guest who goes to a vacation rental with dirty sheets, kitchen, and towels. I also asked him where his commitment was to his business. Orlando must not have liked what he heard, as he hung up the phone and cancelled all future services quicker than I could. I had to leave my son with neighbors on my only day, Sunday, and head to the unit to clean it myself as a responsible host and a business owner. I would caution anyone from giving business to this irresponsible person. For the record, I asked for a phone call from the company and have yet to hear from them. So it is not only Orlando but also the company that has a similar attitude towards its responsibilities."

"David at Apex contacted me immediately and was available next day. They did excellent work cleaning lichens off my aluminum shutters, which took a lot since I had never had them cleaned. They also power washed the house and driveway. They were very pleasant, fast , efficient, and thorough."
