"I hired Russ here in Mason/Lebanon Ohio, he is a snow bird. He goes to Florida in the winter months of here and then returns home in our summers. He services both states. I hired him to do our black top driveway and replace our culvert pipe. He did NOT get a permit as needed to replace the culvert and he back filled it with dirt and rocks. During a rain storm the pipe stood straight up in the air since it was not done correcly, the township came by and dumped boulders on it to keep the pipe down. Shortly after the work , grass is growing in the black top, spots have sunk in, cracks all over it as well as holes. This is a pour job by him and his team. Since doing the work i have reached out and was told to F***ING take me to court. Which i have done and won. Our last hearing he did not show up for and now has a warrant for his arrest in Ohio. "

"I recently completed a large pool and deck renovation project with Surfside Pavers. The work involved the setting of more than 2500 square feet of large format 20 mm and 10 mm porcelain tile. The job was quite challenging for a variety of reasons but particularly because of the multiple elevations and the many complicated angles involved. I have to say it was executed to perfection. Surfside’s attention to detail was exemplary. I never saw anyone setting tile without simultaneously verifying their work with a large level. As a result, the tiles were all perfectly aligned with one another and the drainage of the deck was even better than promised. I particularly want to thank Keith Spalding for overseeing the project. He always made time to explain their plans and intentions and patiently answered my many questions. "asked for seal coating and minor repairs. There are cracks that the sealer doesn't address. he did patch a couple of small areas. Louis pointed some of the previous crack seals while he was giving me the estimate. My understanding was that he would fill the cracks. He has a different point of view. When I asked him why he didn't fill them he said it wasn't part of the job. He went on to say that his recommendation would be to do a 2 inch resurface. When I asked him why did didn't recommend that at the beginning he said he only does what the customer asks. He did a good job of cleaning and prepping the surface. The areas without the cracks look great. I wish he would have taken the time to make his recommendation prior to doing something he wouldn't do to his own property. Disappointed."

Ira helped me through the HOA approval process, providing detailed description, material lists and applicable drawings. We communicated primarily through text and Ira was very responsive and let me know what to expect next and when. My project was a relatively small one for Apex but Ira was able to get crews to my home between larger projects and was flexible with our schedule. There also was some additional unanticipated labor needed to complete my project and I was not charged additionally. Ira stuck to the original quote.
