"Honesty Construction more than exceeded their name of the company! My deck was in dire need of repair, all floor boards, stairs, seating and top rails needed to be replaced. They worked through many options with us and patiently arrived at the best option to meet our requirements. The final work was great and they have my referral-reference any time!"

"Kareem repaired the drywall on my ceiling after it was damaged by a water leak, and the results were outstanding. He was professional, and attentive to detail, delivering high-quality work from start to finish. The repair blended seamlessly with the existing ceiling, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. I am extremely pleased with his work and will definitely hire Kareem again for future projects. Highly recommended."

"Contractor was very conscientious careful and did a fantastic job. Very happy with his work. I would say he went above and beyond to do a good job. Would highly recommend! He also worked with me, allowing me to do parts of the job, such as the railings and the final staining and ceiling, which I have not done yet. He did exactly what I asked him to do and did it well."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Most importantly, you should never cut corners when building a pool. Whether it’s an in-ground or aboveground, poorly constructed pools are dangerous to both the swimmers and your property. Leaks can even lead to home foundation damage. While you can DIY smaller elements of pool installation, always hire a contractor to oversee the process.

Yes, you can use food coloring to find a pool leak. Alternatively, you can use pool detection dyes that are nontoxic and biodegradable. Depending on how much food dye you have on hand, it may be more cost-effective to use pool dyes.

The dye test is one of the best swimming pool leak detection tools because the dyes are heavier than water. By observing where the dye gets sucked in, you can find the location of your leak.

The best way to kill off an algae bloom in an aboveground pool is to shock it with a large dose of chlorine. Shock typically kills off algae in about one to three days, although it can take longer if the pool water is in poor condition. After the shock treatment, add algaecide to prevent algae from growing back, and test the water every few days with test strips to ensure the pool’s pH doesn’t get out of whack.

If you have a smooth, already bonded concrete surface, painting a concrete pool deck can be a great way to brighten up the area and add longevity. If the surface has another covering or a different type of paint has been used previously, you won’t be able to paint it without removing the existing coating. Wooden decks benefit from painting as it helps to keep them watertight. Quality pool deck paints also help make the surface less slippery and less likely to gather mold and mildew or prematurely crack.

Factors affecting pool installation costs include pool size, construction material, special features (like lighting or waterfalls), landscaping, and prevailing site conditions, which might enhance excavation complexity.
