"These guys are great. They were quick to respond, gave a fair quote and showed up on time. They were patient and willing to listen and worked hard and quickly. I am so happy with my new fence. It really was exactly as I wanted. Artan was so good to work with. I highly recommend them for your next project."

"Thomas and James from JD Construction are absolutely amazing! They're very professional, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about their services they provide. We had a big retaining wall that had failed and fallen down along with some old corroded concrete entrance steps that need replacement and repair. JD Construction did not disappoint! The retaining wall came out amazing and the steps are more than I could've wished for. I would definitely recommend JD Construction for all of your masonry needs, they know what they're doing and they will get the job done right. Everything was completed within 2 weeks from the day they started and they cleaned up everything when they were all done. Home improvement/renovations can always be a hassle with your contractor especially when the job is big but with JD Construction they made it our easiest and best experience ever! Thank you once again Thomas and James for everything!"

"Patric and crew did an wonderful job on our new patio. Even though we had some weather related setbacks, the job was completed before Memorial day as promised. We had so many positive comments in regards to the style and thickness of the stamped concrete design during our Memorial day picnic. We will enjoy our backyard for years to come thanks to PGS!"

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

The average cost for a welding project is about $300, with typical costs ranging from $125 to $490. However, prices can be as low as $125 for very small jobs or exceed $1,200 for large or complex projects. Welders typically charge an hourly rate between $65 and $150, depending on their experience, and many charge a minimum fee to cover overhead and travel expenses. The total cost is influenced by several factors, including labor, the cost of materials like metal rods and shielding gas, the type of metal being welded, the project's size and complexity, and your geographic location. For a precise quote, it's best to ask a local welder for an estimate based on your specific project.

Costs depend on unit complexity, labor, wall mounting needs, and additional accessories like floating shelves.

Welding is the process of using extreme heat—and, sometimes, pressure—to attach two pieces of metal. In contrast, metal fabrication is a more involved process that can include welding, sheet metal work, bending, and other forms of metal manipulation. Metal fabrication is a large-scale project that may or may not involve welding, while welding is more often a step in larger fabrication projects.

Yes, you can cut plexiglass by hand using a sharp knife or blade (utility knife, box cutter, glass cutter, etc.).

While a high-speed circular saw will cut through metal, and even cut through multiple sheets at once, the fast-spinning saw blades create a lot of heat. This heat can damage paint and other protective coatings, leading to serious problems like rust over time. The cost to paint a metal roof again to avoid this damage is typically an additional $0.50 to $1 per square foot.
