We had a leak underneath the sink, it was an obvious emergency, I called Gray home improvement, the proprietor is very professional and quickly scheduled me. Arrived on time as scheduled, took note of the situation, bought necessary materials to perform the job, worked into the night to get the job done, which was appreciated. The work was flawless, and I do highly recommend this business

On Saturday, 2/8/25, at approximately 9:34 a.m., I received a call from Teddie Gray from Gray Home Improvement & Landscaping, LLC expressing interest in working on a dripping/clogged pipe in the basement that s running from the kitchen. Gray was adamant about getting the job and told me not to give anyone else the work. He informed me that he would be at my house between 3-4 pm. He would check in periodically to assure me he was coming and that he got me. At about 7:29 pm, I texted him to ask if he was still stopping by, to which he responded I m getting parts, I got you, no worries. At 8:13 pm, I sent another text letting him know that he could come on Monday. He apologized and informed me that it s not gonna take too long , and that he was heading to my house. After arriving at 9 pm, he informed me that the pipes looked bigger on the phone and needed to run to the Home Depot, which wasn t far from me before they closed at 10 pm. The doorbell detected him returning at 10:28 pm. After cutting the pipe in half, he summoned me to the basement and showed me some blockage. At no point did he say how much it was going to cost, but would rather say, I got you. I took him for his word. Shortly following this moment, he went outside for about half an hour to clean his car off the snow moved it to my driveway due to the car ban, and returned inside to continue working. At approximately 1:45 a.m., he came upstairs and sent me a link to Angi and suggested I give him a 5-star rating and a good review. Trusting that he was going to look out for me as he kept assuring me, despite the work not being completed, I still attempted to write the review three times but it wasn t going through. He suggested I just call in my review later. At 4:32 am, the inside camera detected our discussion regarding the surprising price. He showed me a handwritten breakdown of the cost to be $500 an hour for 6 hours to be $3500; not $3000. Additionally, he also scribbled out another cost of $3500, which he said included pipe snaking, cleaning, and rebuilding of the piping, plus materials($150), which should have brought the total to $6650. On the generic service agreement, he listed a final cost of $8150. I was in shock because I was under the impression that this was a minor job based on his text message before that this wasn t going to take long.

TJ did an excellent job doing some repairs in my house. He repaired some bathroom tub spouts and an interior garage door. He worked very hard on the spouts as they seemed to be cemented in. A lot of chiseling was required and took much longer than expected. Finished work was great. He repaired the garage with ease even though other contractors said the whole frame would have to be replaced. Kudos to TJ. Really enjoyed talking with him and will use him in the future for more home projects

He was supposed to fix an in-ground swimming pool heater that was already installed be a professional heater technician. The heater was unable to maintain the heating. He was here for approximately 4 hours and did not fix anything. The inground swimming pool heater was newly installed by a professional heater technician. All connections were checked and double-checked, but it was unable to maintain the heat. The heater would turn on for a few seconds and it would turn off. Through Angi, we were searching for a certified pool heater technician who could address the problem and if they found a defect with the heater we would be able to return it. We were not looking for a Home improvement/Landscaper, claiming to be a heater technician as Angi called us and recommended. A very charming man who kept saying, don t worry I will take care of you . He originally asked for $150 for the diagnosis and when he saw us desperate he jacked up the price to $175 over the phone which we paid before his arrival. He arrived 4 hours later than he promised. I explained the problem and indicated that everything had been checked and rechecked and needed him to address the heater issue. He said, I will take care of you . Because I work 3rd shift (11-7), i had to go to sleep and go to work at 10:30. He started working between 4:30 - 5:00 and finished around 9:00 to 9:30. Obviously, when he came to present his findings with bill of $2313 to my wife i was not available. Claiming that he was not able to fix the problem and recommended to contact our gas company because he thought that the problem was intermittent gas pressure from gas line. We contacted our gas company, Eversource, and informed us the company does not do diagnosis on heaters and recommended us to find a private company. We promptly contacted a private company that came and checked the gas line and they found everything was working fine with the gas line and they indicated the problem must be with the heater itself. Our problem with the Gray Home Improvement-Landscaping are the following. 1. Our original arrangement was diagnosis, which we paid on phone before he arrived. 2. The bill had no head line. It was a hand written. It is a generic invoice paper 3. The bill was not properly itemized. There were a list of [checks, and cleaning on the new heater that had already been checked, as I mentioned to him. For example, I informed him that I had taken out the filter and thoroughly washed the filter fingers a few hours before he arrived. He went ahead, regardless of what I had told him, opened it and placed it back improperly. He told my wife that the water gushes out, which it did, its ok, its the foam. That was not the case and I had to go back and fix it the next morning. 5. He installed nothing and fixed nothing. 6. Basically, his work was diagnostic , and he charged us about $500 per hour 7. He had the audacity to ask for a 5 star recommendation from my wife which had no knowledge of what was going on in a very charming manner. 8. He texted me at the hospital where i work , at 1:00am and asked me for a five star recommendation. And I not knowing about the bill or that nothing was fixed, and assuming the $175 diagnosis was the bill, I gave him a 5 star recommendation. 9. Upon my texts he refused to itemize properly the items and refused to provide a copy or a number of his heating license. And threatened that he would call his attorney if I called back. And he blocked me and my wife s phone.

The company provided the following service: Power Washing, Limb removal from roof and Cutting back limbs. Gray home improvement didnâ t not disappoint!

Mr. Gray was very professional. He worked on my heating system for my inground pool. He spent countless hours on this job and also went above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend his companies. I would give him a 10 out of 10 hands down.

Mr. Gray did an awesome job building a 4 vehicle concrete driveway along with a walkway going around the enclosed porch leading to the hatchway. Mr. Gray has excellent customer service, he also was able to give me ideas to achieve what I wanted and save cost. I will definitely be hiring him for future home improvement needs, highly recommend him!

Mr. Gray did an excellent job in my yard. This was the first cut of the season, as the grass was overgrown and almost up to my knees. Mr. Gray took his time and paid attention to detail. The transformation was amazing! I will be hiring him again.
