The project was a huge success. James and Thomas are professional and friendly. They started the project three days after I signed the contract and their crew worked diligently from start to finish. James and Thomas did an excellent job managing the project and kept me informed on a daily basis. We are extremely happy with the walkway and stoop and the natural blue stone and veneer is beautiful.

JD Construction did a fantastic job on 2 back to back projects. First project was installing a new paver driveway, which they finished quickly and professionally. Second project was replacing a clogged drainage pipe. Great communication from the owners and no worrying about when the project will be completed. Highly recommended!

JD Construction has completed 2 paved stoops for our house. They did a fantastic job! The first stoop they completed was late summer 2023. It has held up beautifully through winter snow, salt, and ice. They recently came out and did an amazing job fixing our second stoop. The owners are responsive, considerate, and quick to take action. They do a great job of explaining what needs to be done, the products that should be used, and their pricing. Their crews work quickly and professionally, and the owners communicate clearly when the crews will be ant your house working and what they will be doing. Additionally, the owners oversee all work being completed by their crew. You can tell they take great pride in their company and work, and want the customer to be happy with their final product. Even for our smallish jobs, the owners checked in with us frequently over the course of the 2-day projects to make sure we were satisfied. Highly recommend - in fact I have already referred to several friends and family, all of whom have been very satisfied with their walkways!

Thomas and James from JD Construction are absolutely amazing! They're very professional, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about their services they provide. We had a big retaining wall that had failed and fallen down along with some old corroded concrete entrance steps that need replacement and repair. JD Construction did not disappoint! The retaining wall came out amazing and the steps are more than I could've wished for. I would definitely recommend JD Construction for all of your masonry needs, they know what they're doing and they will get the job done right. Everything was completed within 2 weeks from the day they started and they cleaned up everything when they were all done. Home improvement/renovations can always be a hassle with your contractor especially when the job is big but with JD Construction they made it our easiest and best experience ever! Thank you once again Thomas and James for everything!

Driveway, front stoop, walkway

Very knowledgeable and professional. The work was a retaining wall that stretched about 100 ft that was failing. The old wall had to be hand carried out and new pavers brought in. All by hand! Thomas and James took on this tedious project with ease. This project was extremely difficult and required man power verses machine due to the location. Thomas and James came in and did exactly what they said they would do without any damage to the property! Which was truly amazing due to No Other Contractor wanted to work on this project. A pleasure to work with!!!

We had both new front steps and a new front walk installed. The design was beautiful, the craftsmanship was first-rate, and they were great to work with. They were timely and left everything in perfect order when they were done.

They completed the job quickly and did a beautiful job on all of the projects. The patio is awesome and our favorite spot now!

The owners were friendly, open and honest. They customer and results oriented. They were good problem solvers, resourseful and hardworking.

James, of JD construction, was one of the most unprofessional, condescending, and inconsiderate owners of companies that I have ever met. He was overpriced, however insured me he was going to do a wonderful job and I would be “over the moon“ once the job was completed. If I had not called and pestered, they would not have come out and down my driveway, timely. The day they were supposed to pave, they were first to be here at 10, a.m., then 2 PM due to unforeseen difficulties, and had still not paved my driveway when I called them at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. He was full of excuses as to why he could not come out and do my driveway when he said he would, and I would’ve understood had this not been a pattern since he had given me a quote. He was definitely taking advantage of me, A disabled woman in a wheelchair, and pushing my job back each time something new came up. His work was shoddy at best, leaving chunks of asphalt in the window wells to my basement, and not grading the driveway so the water flow was natural. The side of the driveway that borders on my neighbors yard is crooked, And the curb they put in was done poorly. I will never recommend them to anybody, and warn any elderly or disabled people, do not use this company.

James and tom did a great job on my driveway, they came out and gave me a quote and when we signed a contract they did everything they said and within schedule, they tore out my old driveway and allowed the proscess stone foundation to settle for 4 weeks until it was packed hard. They then repaved the driveway and i am more than happy with my new driveway. Great company highly recommend
