Yes, you can use baking soda to clean your water dispenser. Mix one tablespoon of baking soda with one quart of warm water, then use a sponge or cloth to wipe the solution on the inside and outside of the dispenser. For tougher stains and grime, you can also make a lightly abrasive paste of one part baking soda and one part water to gently scrub tougher areas. Then rinse the dispenser with water. 

You can always use a homemade vinegar solution as a natural alternative to commercial cleaning products. To make and use a vinegar cleaning solution, fill a spray bottle with equal parts white distilled vinegar and warm water. Spray the solution liberally across the tub surface. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes before wiping it down with a non-abrasive sponge or cleaning cloth, then rinse with clean water. If a line of soap scum is still visible, spray it with the vinegar solution. Use a soft-bristle toothbrush to gently scrub the residue away before wiping it down and rinsing again.

A few times per week, take a damp, soapy cloth and wipe down your faucet. Pay close attention to the spout, wiping it thoroughly to remove any mineral deposits. Also, once a month, wipe the cloth with a vinegar and water solution. After application, run your water to rinse the spout thoroughly, freeing any debris that might be hanging on.

A small amount of diluted bleach is okay to pour down a garbage disposal. As part of your weekly garbage disposal maintenance, use 1 teaspoon of bleach with your concoction of ice cubes and lemon peels. Turn on the disposal and run the water until the blades chop up the ice cubes.

Any more bleach in your disposal can harden oils and greases in your drain, which can cause problems. Always wear gloves when working with bleach, and know that you really don’t need bleach at all—vinegar, baking soda, salt, and ice should do the trick.

Ideally, you should do a cleaning once every week. Make your fridge cleaning a part of your weekly Sunday chores, if possible. This will prevent bacteria from breeding and help your fridge work more efficiently; spilled food can cause food to build up near the fridge vents, which forces your fridge to do more work to stay at an optimal cold temperature.
