They rely on subpar subcontractors with no professionalism or craftsmanship. ? Overpromise and underdeliver: I had to stay on top of every detail myself, doing the job the contractor was hired to manage. ? Unreliable: Never kept appointments or confirmed schedules. The only time they showed up on time was to collect payment. ? Unsafe practices: At one point, a subcontractor was cutting concrete inside the bathroom with a gas?powered tool, filling my entire home with smoke. I had to intervene to stop it and argue just to get basic protections like tarps in place. ? Poor management: Subcontractors openly complained about not being paid, and I even had to send one home myself because of unacceptable behavior. ? End result: Substandard work that does not reflect the money spent. Save yourself "

Throughout the process there were incorrect dates, missed timelines, people showing up late and not at all. I have documentation of each of more than a dozen of such instances. The coordinator, Mark, was unpleasant and unprofessional, never helpful with these delays and only telling me that?s ?the way this works?, as if that is an acceptable response. I am a single mom and my kitchen was left in shambles each day, completely unusable. The delays, missed work to accommodate their schedules, which most of the time they didn?t show up even after I took off work, coupled with the number of times I was forced to eat out, made my life a stressful hell for months.
