The process was smooth, quick, professional, economically efficient and subsequently stress free. The work was mind blowing as it was economical, quick and I was left with beautiful results. I would highly recommend this contractor/handyman. Very knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest.

Dick Haslam and his worker Alex did a fantastic job on my tub. I went with a refinish on my fibergalss tub because that was the most cost efficient option. Mr Haslam was recommended to me by my plumber. Mr Haslam's worker Alex arrived right on time. He was very friendly and went right to work and finished the job relatively fast, within 3-4 hours. The way my tub and enclosure looked after he was finished blew me away and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this contractor as I am very happy with the work. The price was very reasonable

Work was scheduled for August 9. Mr. Haslam called and said that he had a cancellation and would we like the work done earlier. Workers showed up exactly on time and went to work immediately. The work was completed within about 5 hours. Mr. Haslam came when the men were cleaning up and checked to make sure it met with his standards. The workers cleaned up everything and left no mess behind. I was given clear instructions as to the maintenance. All in all, it was a very rewarding experience. I would most definitely use their services again

  • Porcelain Glaze
Thomas was very informative and friendly from the first phone call for a quote till the minute he cleaned up after the work was performed. We had him refinish a cast iron tub and wall mounted sink that was original to our home. He did a beautiful job with both, they look great! He showed up on friday afternoon and took about 4 hours. We noticed a few small areas that weren't perfect after the first spray on friday night, I called and left Thomas a message on Saturday with my concerns. He called me Monday morning and said he would be there the next day. He not only fixed the small imperfections but caulked around our tub as well. He went above and beyond his scope of work on both days and we would definitely recommend him. Did I mention you can't beat his prices

  • Matt's Pro Plumbing Inc
My mother could no longer turn off the cold water in her 80 year old tub. Due to its age and the fact that my mother was having a difficult time getting in and out of the tub to take a shower, we decided to replace the tub with a walk in shower. Found Matt on Angie's List and he came out and assessed the job and gave us an estimate on the spot. We agreed to have the work done and Matt advised us on when they would be out to do the work. They actually came out earlier, which was great. My mother's house is over 200 years old, so we were a bit apprehensive as to what the workers would find when they started the demo, but they were not deterred by anything. The original tub had to be sledge hammered to pieces to get it out of the bathroom, then they had to build an end wall where before there was none. They added insulation where there was none before. They also had to cut a large section out of the floor because it was quite bowed and then replace it with new boards. They did all this in one day, just the two of them, Justin and Brad (I'm pretty sure I have their names correct!) They hardly even stopped to gulp down lunch! They were so polite and kind to my mother, who is almost 90 years old. I valued that very highly. My mother is very happy with her new shower and ended up having the rest of the bathroom renovated. We are very pleased with the work that Matt's crew did and mom is so glad she went this route and had the walk in shower installed. I took photos that I would have posted if I knew how, but believe me when I say it came out great!

  • New England Reglaze
They were 1 hr. Late. I called and they were on their way. Two men came. Very pleasant. Sanded and reglazed tub. No mess. Everything cleaned. Instructions given. Paid by check. Was unsure of how it would look for $450.00 but they did a good job. Other quotes were $750.00. Would use this company again

I arranged an appointment for Mr. Haslam to come look at a couple tubs I wanted refinished. I later found out the appointment would conflict with going to my cousin's graduation from Navel Officer Candidate School. I called Mr. Haslam to reschedule, and he said this would be a terrible inconvenience to him since he could not arrange babysitting for his grandkid(s) at another time. So, in order to meet his scheduling needs, I did not go to my cousin's graduation and instead kept the appointment with Mr. Haslam. Mr. Haslam ended up being about 40 mins late. He inspected both tubs and said he would give me an estimate after he researched how much the color formulas would cost. I never heard back from him again. I did not call him back, because it had been such a hassle, I figured I was probably better off not doing any further business with him
