They did an outstanding job, were very understandable, and were very nice. They explained everything completely and they answered all of our questions. They cleaned everything up after they were done and we would highly recommend them. We would definitely hire them again.

Wellborn was very responsive. I called on a Saturday evening planning on leaving a message but somebody answered and scheduled a technician to be at our house on Monday. The technician was very pleasant and informative and did a great job.

Fast response and fast tuneup/preventative maintenance. Work took 30 minutes for lubricating/tightening bolts as well as replacing two hinges because the #1 hinge had a hairline fracture around 1 cm in length. Overall, a professional service, however I thought the price for the work performed was higher than my past experiences with Welborn. P.S. there is now a service call fee on top of the cost for repairs/preventative maintenance. No Angie’s list discount available at the time I had work done, however, there was a Spring $50 off promotion in effect for repairs that was applied.

Chad, the technician, arrived on time and replaced the broken spring. While here he examined the entire door and all parts and gave me some tips on maintenance. This is the 2nd time I have hired Welborn and they did a great job both times. He also accepted a $50 coupon from the Angie's List website. I will hire Welborn again when something breaks.

Professional service and they found that the builder had installed an inferior spring for the weight of the door. This was 5 years ago and I have not had any trouble with the door. In the DFW area, there are many issues with garage door companies, so be very careful with who you choose. Check BBB and Angie’s List first!

I called today morning and the lady who answered the phone, Lisa was very professional. She was able to quickly find the appointment slot today and even she called this afternoon to let us know that the technician was on the way there. The technician, Chad was very professional, courteous, and helpful. He gave me a review of my garage door system and potential areas to watch out for including the needed tune-up. Next time also, if I call Welborn then will definitely request for Chad again. Thanks to both Lisa and Chad.

Welborn replaced our garage door four years ago. The parts had a three-year warranty. When we selected a door we chose a good quality one which we expected to last. We spent almost $1,000 on the door and installation. A sub-contractor came to install it. He was supposed to have help, but that person did not show up. A couple of years later we needed the trim replaced on the bottom of the door, so that was done for free since it was under warranty. The technician noticed a problem with the way the door was installed initially and make a correction. I can't remember the details. A technician came out to replace the spring and noticed that other parts were broken or worn out. Remember it had been four years. We were charged $933 to repair the door. We were unhappy and called to complain. A representative called me and admitted that the parts probably worn out prematurely due to the sub-contractor not doing the job right in the first place and offered me $100 to keep us as customers. Well that did not impress me and we will not use them again.

We initially had some issues with connectivity, but after several back-and-forth calling, we finally were able to settle the appointment. The technician who came was professional, courteous, and very helpful. He did not try to overcharge me but explained what could happen should I decide to go on with the work. I didn't feel any hard sales pressure. After the emergency work was done, he gave me a review of my garage door system and potential areas to watch out for. I was also given an estimate and a pricing list for several options.

Vester came in during the time frame I was given, and I was promptly notified by Welborn when he was on his way to my house. From the moment I set up an appointment, I was greeted with great customer service! The minute I opened the garage door for Vester, he immediately knew what was wrong with my garage. Apparently the spring in my garage was broke, and I'm so glad he immediately knew that was the source of my problem. It was nice of him to show me the proper maintenance I need to do every 3 months for my garage door, as well as the once a year maintenance that would help. Vester was courteous, and very professional! This is the first time I contact Welborn, and I would definitely contact them for any future repairs!

Great. Got door tuned up, parts oiled. Notified me of some wear starting to appear on some cables. Let me know of maintenance I can do every few months to keep it running well and prolong the life of parts.
