As soon as one step was finished, the inspector was there within a few days so they could move on to the next step. From framing to floors to backsplash to heating and lighting, all of their work was high quality. Every team member was extremely professional, and Louis was always available to communicate about each step and decisions that needed to be made.     We are extremely happy that we hired New Creation Tile & Marble to install our kitchen backsplash. John and his crew were excellent. When John came over to give us the estimate, he also measured the wall and told us how many boxes of 3"x6" subway tile and how many 12" pencil tiles for the edging that we would need to order to complete this project. On the day of the installation, they were very punctual in their arrival. Before starting John explained a couple of options that we had available to ensure that the final look would be just as we had envisioned. In addition to installing the backsplash, they did an excellent job removing and replacing a chipped 12"x12" floor tile that was in our mudroom. Prior to leaving, John informed us of the best procedure for applying the sealer once the tile adhesive had dried. I have received numerous compliments on our backsplash and on the perfection of its installation. In closing, we highly recommend New Creation Tile & Marble for professional tile installation at a very reasonable price

    My project involved a full kitchen and bathroom renovation in my 100+ year old house. It came with all the challenges of an older home, complete with uneven walls and floors, original plaster, and strangely shaped rooms / layout. Leo was very attentive, detail oriented, and always wanted to be sure I was happy with the decisions needed. I never felt like he was trying to upsell me or increase the scope of the project for his own gain. Along the way there were things I added to the scope, but he was always helpful in deciding what was needed or made sense to do vs. something not needed or that might be overinvesting. He was very diligent and detail oriented in all aspects of the job. The project involved leveling and sheet rocking walls and ceilings, new tile throughout the bathroom, new tub, installation of shower doors, removal of an exterior window (and residing exterior to cover the area, which was done seamlessly), new sinks, vanity, mirrors, and fixtures, and a slew of other details I’m probably leaving out. It was a challenging space and came out great! Much of the same was needed in the kitchen, but it also included new cabinets, counters, backsplash, and framing out a very weird wall so the cabinets and appliances would make sense and be even. He also painted all of rooms and left the house clean and beautiful. He was always polite and trustworthy. I would definitely recommend him and hire him again for another similar project in the future

    We're thrilled with the work Leo and his team at Excalibur Construction did to create a beautiful bathroom out of an outdated laundry space. Leo has an impressive range of skills, and is a a kind and trustworthy person. The project was started in early March of 2020 and at my request, was paused for several months due to Covid shut down. Leo was flexible with this interruption and although he was extremely busy when we asked to begin again, he made the time and followed Covid-safe work practices. We live in an old house and there was extensive preparation - foundation work and window moving. Leo kept us informed on these developments and was transparent in how these impacted timing and pricing. His project spanned plumbing, electrical work, framing, tile work, and shower door installation. Leo paid attention to each detail and offered thoughtful design suggestions.     We had a great experience working with Adie and his subcontractors on our shower renovation. Our shower was leaking water and we received some estimates to repair the water damage, fix the plumbing, and retile the shower. We chose East Bay and were very happy with the service. Adie was reliable and texted me every day to let me know when he was arriving, and gave a good summary of the work that was going to be done each day. Adie & subs wore masks for COVID at all times and were respectful of our space. Adie had some nice ideas such as adding some marble slab to the shower entryway and using concrete board in our crawl space. These were both suggested after giving us the quote, so he did not charge extra for either, or for fixing some leaky PVC that I wasn't aware of when requesting the quote... Adie just seemed like he wanted to genuinely do a good job. He is also a pleasant & honest person to work with. Definitely give East Bay a try

    I hired Spaces LLC back in August 2019 to remove and replace a tile floor in my upstairs bathroom. A crew arrived to setup interior floor protection and dust containment, and removed the old tile. Eric repaired some subfloor issues, then proceeded to do a great tile installation. I was pleased with the workmanship and the fact they didn’t make a mess of the place. My downstairs bathroom tile floor was not installed properly by another contractor. Because of the nice work Spaces did on the upstairs bath, I contacted them again to see if they could correct the botched tile job in the downstairs bath. They came immediately and again, did a fantastic job removing and replacing the tile floor. There was a minor fit/finish item at the end that they immediately corrected. I am very happy with both floor installations. I appreciated the quality of work done and the fact nothing in my house was damaged. They took all precautions to ensure no damage was done during both jobs and showed up when they said they would.     I worked with Joe to pick out the quartz counters and the subway tile for the backsplash. Joe was very responsive whenever I had a question or concern throughout the entire process - from design to completion. He really knew what he was taking about and took the time to go over all my options and help me select tile and counters that would look best with the existing cabinets and tile floor. Everything turned out absolutely gorgeous. I was floored when I first walked in after the project was complete. It came out even better than I could have imagined. If I had to offer one criticism, I feel like the tile installers could have been a little cleaner or picked up after themselves a bit more. They got a good deal of grout all over a brand new outlet receptacle in the kitchen and just left it there to hardened, so I had to replace it again. They also clearly didn’t use drop cloths or anything. But the tile work they did was fantastic, so I can’t complain. Overall, I would highly recommend Interstate to friends and family, and I am so happy with the counters, vanity, and backsplash. It was definitely worth every penny
