"Cliff came in on a Saturday and removed 3 walls of wallpaper. He did a great job with that and we hired him to paint the upper level interior of the house. Again a great job at a fair price. Cliff is a true painting professional and it shows in his work. I'll definitely call Cliff for future painting projects."

"I have worked with Stellar Painting and Remodeling on a number of projects. They have painted the exterior of my house and the interior twice. They installed crown molding throughout the house and added a chair rail in one of my bedrooms. They finished my garage with drywall, additional electrical outlets, lighting and cabinetry. Each project was completed to my satisfaction and I'm picky. They are my go-to contractor...here's why: Estimates are free. They listened to my vision and offered insight without being pushy. Their front office is easy to communicate with and very responsive. Contracts are easy to review and should changes need to be made, those changes are promptly incorporated. Once into the project, if a change order is needed, it is processed graciously with no additional change fee. Expectations for scheduling my projects were provided upfront. The Project Coordinator walked through the project site with the contract in hand to insure there was no confusion or miscommunication. And at the end of the project a walkthrough was conducted allowing me to inspect the work with the Project Manager. Work began on time and the work space was left neatly at the end of the day. Care was taken for the protection of my property and the space around the project. Great communication, fantastic customer service and high quality work best describes Stellar Painting and Remodeling. I recommend them without reservation."

"I used them to paint the exterior of my home and garage. Then used them to paint a most of the interior. I am now having them give me a quote for an additional room. Chris is so good with communication and returning my calls. Would definitely recommend Peak Pro Painting."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

The best and fastest way to remove paint from a deck often involves combining a chemical stripper with a pressure washer. Gel-based paint strippers are highly recommended because their thick consistency makes them less messy and easier to apply than liquid strippers. After applying the stripper to loosen the paint, you can use a pressure washer to efficiently wash away the residue. When using a pressure washer for this task, it's important to use a low pressure (under 1000 PSI) to avoid forcing too much moisture into the wood, which could lead to mildew or rot.

Yes, vinegar can remove polyurethane from wood, but it is a slow, inefficient, and inconsistent restoration method. Whatever your intention, it’s best to avoid using vinegar on wood with a polyurethane finish—though it can be an effective cleaner for other wood finishes.

The easiest way to remove window decals is to soak the area in hot, soapy water. Let it sit for 15 minutes before scraping it with a plastic scraper or the edge of a credit card. You can also remove window decals with white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, or applying heat from a hairdryer or steam cleaner.

Most handy homeowners can tackle removing texture from unpainted walls. Removing texture from painted walls is a bit trickier. Paint acts as a sealant, so you can’t soften the texture with water. Instead, you’ll have to add a layer of drywall compound known as a skim coat. This process is messy and takes some practice.

WD-40 is an effective way to remove glue and other sticky residue from many surfaces, including wood. Spray the WD-40 on the area, allow the product to sit for a few minutes, then carefully wipe away the residue. As with other adhesive removal methods, test the WD-40 on an inconspicuous spot first to ensure it won’t damage the finish.
