"Following the remodel of our kitchen and lower lever, we hired Cliff and Luis to repaint the interior of our entire home. We could not have been happier with our choice of painters. Cliff and Luis are top notch, if you are looking for the best painters in the Colorado, I would look no further. During our initial consultation, Cliff suggested we have some drywall work done prior to painting. No matter the quality of the paint job, it won’t look good if they are damage issues to the wall underneath. Cliff suggesting a guy he has worked with for years, who also does excellent work, and knows what Cliff is expects. I am quite happy we took this advice. Of course finding the right color is always the hardest job. We had painted about ten color swatches throughout the house and were still not happy with what we found. Cliff and Luis looked at what we had and listened to what we wanted and provided names of colors in which they felt we were looking for. And believe it or not, they were spot on, we were thankful to not have to make more trips to the Sherwin Williams only to come home disappointed. On to the quality of work. Cliff and Luis are very meticulous and did excellent work, you can tell they take pride in their work. They took the time to seal any trim and molding and fix any minor flaws in the wall and trim prior to painting. The lines are clean and perfect, and we are so glad we had them paint the doors. Additionally, the paint job Luis did on our built -ins was exceptional and we couldn’t have asked for better work from anyone. "My wife and I simply wanted to hire a professional company to paint our home and were willing to pay a good price to have it done. We decided to call the Paint Doctor and after hearing the owner and sales representative Brian Wooldridge’s convincing presentation complete with statements of high profile customers, promises of professional master painters, detailed preparation, and a warrantied paint job that we would be more than happy with for years to come, complete with a promised personal Mr. Wooldridge final walk-through, we signed a contract. We even paid extra for the best paint. Sadly Mr. Wooldridge and his company did not honor the contract. In retrospect, it was evident from the start, the preparation and paint crew was not even given a work order nor had any detailed knowledge of the work that needed to be done as promised in our contract. Though we were initially told by Mr. Wooldridge our project would take 4 to 5 days, at the end of the second day we found out they had completed the entire job. We then pointed out the prep was incomplete and the stucco cracks were still evident. Slapstick patchwork followed briefly the next day and they stated they were done. After a couple of weeks of sitting in discontent of their work we decided to call Brian Wooldridge to express our dissatisfaction. He came out and acknowledged the work had not been performed as per contract. And after taking pictures and making notes Mr. Wooldridge stated they would make the necessary corrections. So here we are now with the Paint Doctor not showing up for 3 scheduled appointments, a contract that is not being honored, work not completed to include lack of preparation, cracks in our stucco, paint peeling on our foundation, seal trim around doors not corrected, and a stain coming through what we were told would be two coats of special paint. All the painting was completed in one day despite the instructions on the paint container stating to wait at least 24 hours between coats. And now despite our repeated attempts to correct this situation, Mr. Wooldridge, and his secretary Rhonda, are not returning our phone calls. The work and behavior displayed by Mr. Brian Wooldridge, his company the Paint Doctor, his secretary Rhonda, and paint crew, are completely counter to what we were promised in a signed contract, at which point now he has chosen not to honor."

You may need to provide your own paint, depending on the agreement you make with the painter. Some painters prefer that you buy the paint and they supply the labor. However, some professional painters get a better price on paint and can pass that savings along to you even after accounting for labor costs.
The average cost to paint a ceiling ranges from $3 to $8.50 per square foot, which is about $1 to $2.50 more per square foot than the cost to paint the walls. Rooms with high ceilings require working from a ladder or scaffolding and often include trim or detail work, which adds to the final price.
Professional painters charge $20 to $50 per hour, on average. Hourly rate cost factors include the complexity of the paint job, the type of paint, the height of the walls and ceiling, and the type of prep and repairs needed.
