"I couldn’t be happier with the results of our backyard renovation. The backyard looks great, and the additional shade has us spending more time out there than before. Friends and neighbors have nothing but great things to say. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and always left the site clean at the end of the day. Communication was smooth throughout the process. If you’re looking for a landscaping company that delivers high-quality work and truly cares about their clients, I highly recommend these guys!"

"I am so please that my wife and I decided to hire Chris for some fence work. He did a great job and we get lots of complements on it. We will defiantly recommend Chris and will hire him again should we need more fence work."

Customers say: Quick response

"Orvin Miller was fantastic. I recommend him to anyone. I found him just by doing a Google search so I didn't have any idea about the quality of his work. He called me within a day, was very knowledgeable, went to my home to look at the patio in need of replacement one day later and provided an estimate for the work that same day. I was grateful for how quickly he responded since I needed the work done in short order. Four days later, I had a new, beautiful concrete patio. He did an excellent job and was not only professional and knowledgeable, but reasonably-priced and such a pleasure to work with. Last, it rained the day the concrete was to dry so he improvised a cover by securing a large tarp to my back fence to cover the still wet concrete. This protected the concrete from rain damage. I really appreciated the extra care he took to deliver excellent workmanship."

"We had an incredible experience with Easy Seasons Grassworks for our backyard transformation in Fort Collins! James and his team converted our stamped lawn into a beautiful concrete patio, helping us save water, and added landscape lighting that makes the yard sparkle at night. They also created a stunning xeriscaped, multi-layered area with a gorgeous dry rock creek formation, adding so much character to our space. James’s artistic eye brought our vision to life with impressive accuracy, and he was super flexible, adapting to new ideas and changes along the way. James and his one other team member worked tirelessly—we’ve rarely seen two people work so hard, long, and effectively! They tackled a project that would have been tough for a larger crew, delivering everything with no delays, just hard work and good talent. A huge thanks to Dawn, the owner, for scheduling us quickly, being adaptable and flexible to our needs, and even meeting us on budget. The value we got was the best."

"Working with Ricky was great because not only did he know his trade, he was super friendly and professional, which is great when working with someone closely on a project which can be a big investment, and having a trusting relationship is important. The water feature work he did was incredible. The small details to complete a water feature make the biggest difference in making something look and feel incredibly natural. Very happy with Ricky and his work."

Patios questions, answered by experts

The cost to screen in a porch depends on whether you are adding screens to an existing structure or building a new one from scratch. Adding screens to an existing porch costs about $5 to $7 per square foot, with a national average cost of around $2,800. For example, screening a 12-by-12-foot (144-square-foot) porch would likely cost between $700 and $1,000. If you are building a new screened-in porch, the cost is substantially higher. A new 12-by-12-foot screened-in porch can cost between $6,400 and $18,300, while a new 14-by-16-foot one averages around $11,000. The final price will vary based on the size of the porch, labor costs, and the materials you choose.

If you want to hire a professional to build a screened-in porch, a local sunroom or porch contractor is your best bet. If you can't find a local sunroom builder, another option is to consider hiring a general contractor to perform the work.

If you're handy, you may consider building the porch yourself. Before you do so, make sure you understand the local permit requirements and building codes so that you don't have any problems with the safety or structure of the porch.

Yes, enclosing a patio to create a sunroom or three-season room is often a good idea that adds value to your home. This project increases your home's usable square footage and creates a versatile space for relaxing or entertaining that is filled with natural light and can be used in various weather conditions. Homeowners may see an average return on investment (ROI) of around 70%. The final value added will depend on factors such as the quality of the materials, the level of finish, and the amount of yard space that remains after the enclosure.

You can start your search for a reputable patio company by finding providers in your area with positive ratings online and few, if any, complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Once you narrow down your search, contact the companies and ask for examples of their past work, as well as a list of references. The examples will show you the quality of the work you can expect and how professional the finished product will be, and contacting previous customers will give you an idea of the service you can expect throughout the process.

Even under the best of all circumstances, the maximum ROI on a pool is about 56%. There are other exterior home projects that you can do that are both less expensive to tackle and net a more significant ROI. These include:
