"Well, overall. Thomas and his crew took the time to make sure things were done well. They arrived right on time, and stayed until they were confident that I was happy with the work. Thomas asked me to walk around and make sure every window met my standards, and when I pointed out a couple of windows that seemed to be less-well cleaned, he and his crew went back and re-washed those windows. The windows are sparkling now, and I am so relieved! I am always looking for a good deal -- but price reflects quality in this case, and I'm glad I called Thomas to do our windows."

"Ivan does beautiful work as well as being efficient and tidy along the way. My wallpaper install required being very detailed and precise and Ivan was 100% on point. It was obvious throughout the install, Ivan takes great pride in his work and it’s reflected in the results."

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, services are customizable to target specific areas or concerns within your home.

The simplest way to clean stained glass windows is by using warm distilled water and a damp cloth. Distilled water won’t corrode the stained glass or leave residue behind. Avoid using cleaners with alcohol or ammonia. However, you should only clean when necessary. Stained glass windows are fragile, and excessive cleaning could cause fading, weakening of the solder, or other damage.

Yes, you should plan on being home when a window cleaner is cleaning your windows. The professional will clean both sides of the glass and will likely disassemble parts of your windows from the inside to clean and inspect the inner components, including the balances and weatherstripping. Much of this work requires interior access to your home, which means someone will need to be home to provide access to the window cleaner.

Window washing usually refers to cleaning dirt and other debris off of the exterior of your windows, while window cleaning is a much more involved process that addresses the outside and inside of the glass, as well as the interior components. Window washing is more to improve the aesthetic of your windows, while window cleaning can improve performance, reduce the risk of damage over time, and even improve your home’s energy efficiency.

Hard water stains can permanently damage your glass if left untreated. The minerals dissolved in the water can etch the glass, causing long-term damage and affecting the overall integrity of the surface. Luckily, it is pretty simple to remove hard water stains by using vinegar, baking soda, or commercial cleaners.
