"Isabel and Ben were great! I had my chimney inspected and cleaned. I also had my dryer vent cleaned. They found very clogged and shoddy vent work in my crawl space for the dryer. They were able to fix, clean and get the duct work up to code same day. They showed me pictures and videos so I could understand the severity of the issue. I appreciate their clear communication throughout the entire process."

"Anthony was extremely professional and did an amazing job on my fireplace. He’s super knowledgeable and won’t sell you anything you don’t need or try to scare you into purchasing something you don’t need! I’m hiring him again to replace my fireplace doors. I HIGHLY recommend him!"

"They contacted me right away and set up a very quick appointment. He gave me an estimate of the cleaning I would need. They gave me an appointment window, contacted me early, because he was running early, to let me know he was on his way and how long it would take for him to get here. He even offered to bring me a coffee or tea! After we talked about the trouble we have been having with our fireplace he laid out a tarp and started cleaning and checking for the problem. After he found the problem, he explained my problem and my options for repair. As well as the cost options. I chose what would work and he gave me an estimate of how long it would take. After he completed the repairs he showed me how everything worked and how to shut off the gas, because I did not know how to do that before. He cleaned up and was very, very courteous! So hard to find good customer service these days and someone who takes pride in their work. The fireplace looks awesome!"

Fireplaces questions, answered by experts

Schedule fireplace service immediately if you notice yellow or orange gas flames, which indicate altitude-related combustion issues. Look for visible mortar cracking, white mineral staining on exterior brick, or chimney cap damage after high winds. Smoke entering your room points to negative air pressure problems. Given the local climate and heavy pine usage, book an annual inspection to prevent dangerous creosote buildup in your Parker home.

Helpful?

Before calling a professional for fireplace service, safely remove light debris from the firebox using standard tools. Check your damper to ensure it opens fully, but never force a stuck plate. On frigid Parker nights, carefully warm a cold flue by holding a lit rolled newspaper near the open damper to improve drafting. Always test your carbon monoxide detectors and verify local air quality rules before burning.

Helpful?

The success of fireplace service depends heavily on Parker's unique environment. At nearly 6,000 feet, altitude affects combustion, requiring specific adjustments for gas appliances. The semi-arid climate and extreme temperature swings cause mortar and firebrick to expand and contract, accelerating wear. High winds drive debris into flues, while expansive soils shift chimney foundations. Burning local pine also increases creosote buildup during the cold winter months.

Helpful?

When scheduling fireplace service, consider the impact of heavy snowmelt. Freeze-thaw cycles cause significant water intrusion damage to chimney crowns and flashing. Regional wildfire smoke deposits extra particulates in your flue system, requiring thorough cleaning. Because incomplete combustion risks are higher at altitude, install and test carbon monoxide detectors near all sleeping areas. Ensure licensed professionals handle any gas line modifications to meet CO safety standards.

Helpful?

Start planning your fireplace service by checking local permit requirements for any installations or conversions. Schedule your annual inspections in July or August to avoid the peak heating season rush. Verify that your chosen professionals hold the proper local registrations. You must also review your HOA guidelines for exterior modifications and account for regional air quality rules that restrict wood-burning on high-pollution days in CO.
