"Incredibly friendly and flexible people! Ryan and Lauren went out of their way to check that I was satisfied with my new epoxy flooring towards the end of the job and were amicable even when we had to reschedule the work twice. The floor looks amazing and weâ ve already gotten compliments by neighbors. Highly recommend."

"Eddy, the company owner, was friendly, upbeat, and ambitious. We hired him to resurface our old, paint stained, and worn down garage floor. He worked fastidiously, with attention to every detail. He was on time, on the schedule d date, and stayed until the project was finished. The transition was remarkable and, although we are not in the market to sell, the remodel clearly increased the appeal and value of the home. His price was fair. We got another bid that was about $1500 higher. My only concern was that he required a deposit of half the total price before scheduling an appointment. I was a little apprehensive, since I have only paid after the work is completed, on other projects. Nevertheless, he was entirely professional, and true to his word. Mr. Aspen Resin to anyone interested in a similar project."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

While it's possible to cover asbestos tile with carpet, it's not recommended. Encapsulating tile beneath carpet doesn't eliminate the health risks. Over time, the asbestos tiles could degrade, releasing fibers into the air and potentially contaminating the carpet. Disturbance during carpet installation or removal might also release fibers.

The toilet flange anchors to the subfloor, usually with wood screws or cement screws, but most of it should sit above floor level at full height. When a flange is flush with the subfloor or below it, it can lead to the creation of leak paths.

DIY installation is challenging; professionals ensure proper fitting, adhesive application, and long-term durability.

Yes, you can put carpet directly on concrete. However, you need to take certain precautions to ensure the success of the carpet installation. For example, you’ll need to choose a synthetic carpet pad to provide insulation and cushioning and a vapor barrier to prevent moisture from seeping into the carpet.

Yes, you can put rugs and carpet on heated floors. However, carpet is not the most efficient for heated floors. The carpet pad and pile can prevent the heat from penetrating into the room. Rugs may also prevent heat from reaching your feet. You will get the most from your heated floors if you use thin rugs so that a maximum amount of heat can penetrate the room. You may find you do not need rugs to warm a space, thanks to the radiant heat coming up through your feet.
