"Fabian and his crew are excellent! We needed to build out a new office in the basement and they did a fabulous job. Came in early on day one and started framing. A week later the office was complete, insulated, painted, doors hung and heating installed. They accomplished all of this with minimal disruption to the rest of the household. We needed a little touch up work a month or so later and Fabian on top of it and took care of that issue right away. I would hire Fabian again in a heartbeat, as a matter of fact we have already had conversations about refinishing one of the bathrooms at our house."

After cutting Corian® to the right size, you may have to attach it to another piece of Corian®, either at a corner or another seam. One way to create the tightest seam is to place the two pieces of Corian® on a level surface at ⅜-inch apart. Run a router in between the two slabs to create an identical edge on both pieces. Then use the proper DuPont Joint Adhesive for your type of seam and countertop to join the Corian® together.

Pros save time and ensure quality by handling complex tasks and repairs efficiently.

Using a pro guarantees correct tools and expertise, preventing potential household mishaps.

While handypeople do not need to be licensed in many places, you should only hire insured pros for any home improvement work. Your handyperson should have active liability coverage that protects them and you in the case of an error or accident. Furthermore, if they have employees on your property, they should also have workers’ compensation insurance. If you hire an individual or a company that is not insured and they damage your property, have an accident while on the job, or become injured on your property without insurance, you can be held financially liable.

Cleaning a gutter, replacing fixtures such as a cabinet or light, and painting are common reasons to call a handyperson. You can also call on a handyperson for simple tasks, like assembling new furniture, and complex ones, such as installing a dishwasher. Overall, handypeople are ideal in all areas of home repair that do not require a specific certification, such as with plumbing, electrical, or structural issues.
