Everything went well. Work was done very professionally and in a timely manner. The results had exceeded my expectation and the price for the labor was excellent (great value). I would definitely use this company again.

McHugh was very professional. Installed tile that I chose according to the plan I drew up. Made minor adjustments to the plan to improve aesthetics of the final product. Work was done thoroughly and in a timely manner. Sub contractor who installed the tile was very professional.

They are very friendly, punctual, knowledgeable and professional. It seems like a good company. I would have definitely used them if their price was competitive. I just went with the one with the lowest bid.

I had hired another plumber to take care of this. he was to do it a week after he came out and looked at it. He didn't show up for 2 weeks so I called Action. I talked with the owner about my needs and he told me the guys would be there at 8:00 AM the next day. Ben and Arie showed up at 8:00. I showed them what I needed and they said it was a tough job, but they had seen worse. They both worked till 3:00. cleaned up and made sure I was happy with everything. OUTSTANDING!!!. I don't want to sound like a cheerleader for these guys, but I am a contractor and would love for my guys to always have the positive attitude that these guys had. I got the bill 2 days later and it was Very Fair. $350 in parts and the rest for what those guys did was a great value read less

Scott showed up when he said he would. More importantly, the end result was way better than I had ever imagined. The pictures don't even do it justice. My wife commented that it was the best $95 we have spent remodeling our bathroom.

We found Matt McHugh through Angie's List; he was one of three estimators to replace our tub, tile and shower window. Of the three, not only was his cost most reasonable, but he had the best, most common-sense approach and solutions of any of them, not to mention he was professional as well as personable. We needed the shower window, which opened and had grown rusty and mildewy, replaced, and he suggested we replace it with a sealed window and install a vent. He had to not only replace the wall (as the former contractor had used drywall) with waterproof backing, but he had to replace several 2"x4"s, all of which was more than expected yet included in the original estimated. He suggested we give our old bathroom a more modern look with 12"x12" tiles with a decorative strip, which we could afford with his contractor's discount and looks beautiful. He alsocame in after the tub/shower were done to replace our medicine cabinet and lighting, which were not a part of the original job description and required more work than expected, given the previous sub-par installation of the older items. His tile installer did a beautiful job and our old bathroom is now not only functional but pleasant to look at. We would highly recommend McHugh Tile & Stone and will hire them again for future bath or kitchen work. Warning: deservedly so, McHugh is very busy and you may have to wait a while for him to get to your job, but he is worth it read less

We contacted Matt, the owner, he came out to our home and talked with us about what we wanted. He gave us some ideas and we agreed upon the work to be done and he provided an estimate a couple of days later. He said that it would be about 6 weeks before work would start. Matt realized that we were on a tight time frame and he managed to move up our start time which we appreciated. We were pleased and we didn't feel that they rushed the job. They gave great input, suggestions and their professional opinions on many things. We were kept informed throughout the process of the job. Matt was often on the job site working and if not was readily available for our questions. He was great to work with. We were very satisfied with the finished job. Matt's tile layer was awesome! read less

He is just a great guy. He is honest. He showed up and did a great job. I didn't have any problems whatsoever. He was the fourth or fifth plumber whom I had called to bid on that job. He was just so nice. It is a great company to work with and I would use him again.
