"R&D construction did the final grade and elevation dirt work in preparation for a barn built by Cleary. The work done failed Cleary first inspection. Stating that the build site needed to be within 6 inches of level from the hotspot to the lowest. After passing this inspection, R&D required payment in full. After the barn was built, every precipitation caused the interior of the building to flood. The final grade created by R&D construction sloped toward the building on three sides. by code there should be a 5% grade away from the building for 10 feet around the perimeter. This was not done. R&D construction was paid for installing concrete which also never was done because the site was too wet. And the site was too wet, because all surroundings sloped towards the interior of the building. R&D construction quoted an additional $20,000 to repair their own mistake. If the grade were done code, it would never have flooded and concrete would have been installed. Construction defect "

He neglected to pay his subcontractors who were then contacting my family to try and get ahold of him to get paid. The work he did do was poor quality or not done at all. We have been informed from subcontractors that he was purposely asking for lower quality products at a lower cost so he could increase his profit, despite our requests for mid-grade products. We cut our losses and fired him. "

The time required to remove stucco siding depends on the size of the home, the thickness of the stucco, and the complexity of the project. The easiest way to remove stucco is to use a circular saw with a diamond blade to cut small squares out, pry them off, and then cut the metal lath behind it with tin snips. Plus, you’ll have a higher risk of damaging windows, hidden siding, and sheathing if you go the less precise route.

Late fall is generally the best time of year for installing stucco siding. We don’t recommend hiring a stucco pro to apply this feature when the temperatures are below freezing, so it’s best to avoid applying stucco siding to your home during the winter. However, it’s safe to apply in hot and colder temperatures, so any other time of year is suitable. The spring and summer are the busiest times of year for stucco siding professionals, so you could save money by doing the work in the off-season: the late fall.

Whether or not it’s cheaper to build a pizza oven depends largely on what style you opt for and which tools and materials you already have. For example, having a surplus of leftover fire bricks from another DIY project will reduce the amount you need to build a new pizza oven and cut costs to boot. On the flip side, if you don’t have any of the required materials, buying a pre-made option will be cheaper and require far less work to set up—between just $300 and $1,000 for the best versions.
