If the job site distance exceeds 10 miles from the office there will be a $30 trip charge, which is due upon arrival. If hired for the project, the trip charge will be discounted on the invoice.

He completed all projects very well and is clearly a skilled handyman. The bed frame in particular was a lot of work, and he did an excellent job. Ideally, your gate would swing both in and out. However, if it can only open in one direction, it's generally best for the gate to swing inward. There are exceptions, however. For example, if your property is on a slope, your gate may not be able to swing in.

Keep in mind that there may be local building codes that require your gate to swing inward.

There are a few possible issues that are causing your gate to sage. The hinges may be bent, or the screws holding the hinges to the post could fail—causing the gate to sag from one side to the other. The gate itself may also have come out of square due to failing supports, causing it to sag. On the other hand, it’s possible the gate isn’t the issue at all. The post holding the gate aloft may lean inward, causing the gate to sag.

In most cases, you will need a permit to install a gate or fence on your property. Before your local municipality can issue a building permit, you might also need a site plan or survey to identify property lines. Otherwise, you could infringe on your neighbor’s property, leading to having to pay to take down and re-erect the fence. Permits for a gate and fence usually cost under $100. Luckily, your gate installation company will usually pull the permits for you and handle all of the red tape.
