"Incredibly friendly and flexible people! Ryan and Lauren went out of their way to check that I was satisfied with my new epoxy flooring towards the end of the job and were amicable even when we had to reschedule the work twice. The floor looks amazing and weâ ve already gotten compliments by neighbors. Highly recommend."

Yes, it is possible to apply a concrete coating yourself, especially for smaller applications if you have the proper equipment. However, for larger projects, a professional application is recommended to ensure durability, slip resistance, and proper adhesion.
Costs depend on floor size, finish type, and additional features like in-floor heating.
Always seal concrete stain to protect against wear and preserve the color. This applies to acid- and water-based stains but not always to concrete paint. Many paints designed for outdoor use contain ingredients designed to protect and waterproof without the need for additional sealant. Fortunately, learning how to seal concrete is something most DIY-savvy homeowners can tackle.
The concrete coating process typically requires anywhere from a few hours to multiple days to complete, depending on the size of the area, environmental conditions, and the specific type of coating being applied. Preparatory work, curing times, and the number of coats needed also influence the overall timeline.
Garage floor sealers last anywhere from one to 10 years on average, depending on the type of sealer you use and the traffic it’s exposed to. Acrylic sealers have the shortest longevity, whereas most other options can last anywhere from five to 10 years. If you use an acrylic sealant to protect against stains, reapply every one to two years. Reapply other types of concrete sealers every five years for the best results and maximum protection.
