Once work was completed he requested an additional $600 “because we did such a good job” finally within 90 days of having our fence and gate installed the gate began to sag. I contacted Gabe to give him an opportunity to make it right but he did not respond in any capacity. Moral of the story: make sure the work is 1000% because once peppers leaves they won’t return to fix any errors."

I ended up having Residential Concrete Works do the removal and replacement. I was told they would take it out and have it replaced in 4 hours. They arrived at 8:30AM and were finished a little after 11:30AM and it is absolutely beautiful. I was very impressed by the workers and thier professionalism. Self-leveling concrete is the best option for your garage floor since it guarantees an even surface in the end. However, most garage floors weren’t made with self-leveling concrete. You don’t need to fully replace the garage floor to use self-leveling concrete. A quarter-to-half-inch of self-leveling concrete on top of your existing floor will be sufficient for a smooth and even finish.

The easiest way to handle extra-wet cement is to pour it, let it harden, and then recycle it using one of the methods above. You can also crush it down and sell it for base materials, although this can be pretty time-consuming. Your best bet is to start with less concrete than you need and make more as you go to avoid this problem.

Building a concrete driveway normally takes between one and three days, including the time to cure the concrete. Wait at least seven days before driving on your driveway and two days before walking on it. Your contractor may require additional time if you need to level the ground, install a drainage system, or order special concrete materials. Installing a driveway also often requires a permit, so be sure to include this wait into your prep time as well.

Most of the time, you or your contractor will spray the concrete form and framework with a release agent or oil to prevent sticking. This is common practice with wood and steel forms. For insulated concrete forms, the styrofoam formwork often remains in place after construction, so you don’t need to treat it beforehand. Foam concrete forms made out of melamine also may not need treatment beforehand, as the material naturally won’t stick to the concrete after it’s cured.

No, you cannot drive on concrete after three days because it has not cured enough to support the weight of a vehicle. Doing so will likely leave tire track imprints on the concrete surface and reduce its long-term strength. It is best to wait at least seven days before driving on concrete.
