"Vinyl fence materials had to be ordered in. He responded promptly to all messages and kept me informed of status. The day it was installed, I found out he had received the wrong length boards and had driven to Denver to get the supplies so he could complete the project. "Door Replacement - more work than originally thought but was due to change in codes requiring fire rated door. Since an interior door was being replaced with an exterior door there was a size difference which required reframing the door jam. They walked me through the process of why and how and proceeded.
Deck repairs - more damage that orginally known as structural members were not exposed. Once exisitng stairs were remove there was considerable rot. Offered alternate solutions for handrail. Discussed material options. Provided game plan for repair. Purchased needed materials. Deck repairs completed and handrail added.
Existing electrical outlet changed out to provide plug for garage door opener that had been installed using an extension cord.
The work was more time intense but they stuck with the job until completed in the same in order to work with my travel schedule.
Great all around knowledge of the construction trades. Methodical and kept a clean job site. Kept me up to speed on each project.

"We've had our double swing Driveway gates installed for two years now. I'm a 'do-it-your-selfer' and installed it myself. We opted for the solar-powered package in order to save money on electricity. When talking with the Sales Dept, at NO point did they mention that the solar panels might not give enough voltage to power the gates during the winter or on cloudy, overcast days. We've had only problems on these days: Gates open/close extremely slow or not at all. This requires us to go through the steps to put the gates into manual mode to open/close, which needless to say, is very inconvenient when it's raining! I've contacted the Tech dept many times via email or phone, for information and to troubleshoot. Dave and his predecessor are/were both helpful and patient. Customer service has been slow, or they haven't returned my calls. Emails go unanswered or a reply comes far later than it should and after the issue is a moot point. When bringing up our issues with our expensive gates to both Sales, Customer Service, Tech, and the Owner, they'll suggest upgraded equipment or parts, but they have to be purchased. At no point have they ever offered any parts or upgrades for free because we've had such an overwhelming time getting these gates to function the way their website and videos claim they will. We now have paid for an electric hook-up, and once the transformer arrives(which is late!), we only hope these gates will work the way the company claims they will."
