"Ernesto responded quickly with a great price quote, and answered my questions. He was on time, and did careful work---even gently cleaning windows that had a UV-blocking vinyl film on them, at my request. My garage door windows also got included---what a difference! It's so great to have clean windows. I won't wait so long this time, before I call Nesto's again."

"i have had five different companies wash our windows during the last few years.  This company was by far the best in all categories.
Quick, clean, on time and a good price.  I had to wait a few weeks for them to do the job, but we live a bit off the normal path so that was very understandable.  If you need them to wash your windows for a certain day, call ahead.  Will call again for their services.

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The best homemade cleaning solution for windows is one gallon of warm, distilled or bottled water mixed with five to ten drops of liquid dish soap. This is what professional window cleaners typically use when they make their cleaning solutions. Using bottled or distilled water will help avoid hard water stains after cleaning, and the soap will cut through grease, smudges, and debris on your glass.

Yes, professional window cleaning is worth the investment. Regular deep cleanings help keep your windows looking new, extend their lifespan, and boost your home's curb appeal. By removing dirt, dust, and other debris, you can reduce the risk of damage and accelerated wear to window frames and components. It also improves your home’s energy efficiency by keeping insulation and weatherstripping in good working order, potentially lowering your energy bills. Furthermore, annual or bi-annual cleanings can help identify problems like leaks or cracks early, before they escalate into expensive water damage. You can often recuperate the cost of cleaning through energy savings and by avoiding premature window replacement.

The best time to clean the outside of your house is during your outdoor spring cleaning. Wait until late spring, after the wave of pollen is done coating your home. You can also wash your house in late fall–before the first freeze–to remove leaves and branches from the gutters.

Yes, you should plan on being home when a window cleaner is cleaning your windows. The professional will clean both sides of the glass and will likely disassemble parts of your windows from the inside to clean and inspect the inner components, including the balances and weatherstripping. Much of this work requires interior access to your home, which means someone will need to be home to provide access to the window cleaner.

Professional house cleaners may use a variety of cleaning products, but a great option is a cleaning solution containing ammonia or white vinegar, water, and several tablespoons of dishwashing liquid.
