"Back to Perfection is a perfect name for this company. We didn't realize that Corian could be refinished. We were referred to Back to Perfection and treated to a professional experience process that was well done from start to finish. Our countered has Corian sinks as part of the countertop and they were pitted and wanted them repaired as well as refinishing the entire countertop. We were delighted with the result. The refinished countertops look like new and "Back to Perfection". Recommend Back to Reservation without reservation."

"They worked very hard and quickly. No wasted time. Did a great job. Only thing that bothered me was inconsistency in grout color. Maybe it wasn't mixed thoroughly? Bad bag of grout? Don't know enough about grout to know for sure why that happened. Bottom line though... they did an excellent job."

"Joshua is great! I purchased the toilets at Home Depot and arranged for Joshua to pick them up. Well HD Lancaster location only had two of the HE toilets that I wanted, so the 3rd toilet was picked up in the HD Palmdale store. Joshua did all this with pleasure. If you are not confident in performing the replacement yourself, it is recommended to hire a countertop specialist or a plumber to handle the task.

The standard kitchen countertop height is 36 inches, so a 37-inch countertop should work fine. However, if you’re 5’4” or shorter, a 37-inch countertop might be too high. Ideally, the countertop will be three to four inches below your elbows.

While no countertop material is truly “heatproof,” granite countertops are extremely resistant to high temperatures. Some types of granite can withstand temperatures up to 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit. However, we don’t recommend placing hot pots and pans directly on granite countertops. Even if it doesn’t scar the granite, it may damage the sealant.

Regular maintenance, including resealing, waxing, and repairing any chips or cracks, is essential to preserve its lifespan.

Extensive chips and cracks may require a full replacement of the countertop. The cost to install a new countertop is around $3,100 on average. But, if the damaged area is relatively small, you may want to consider repairing it yourself or calling in a qualified professional. Depending on the material, some epoxy and sandpaper may do the trick. Or you can consider painting laminate countertops or refinishing butcher block countertops.
